On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) announced that it placed 11 individuals on its iGaming Involuntary Exclusion List, which prohibits individuals from gambling at online casinos in the state.
Following an investigation by the Bureau of Investigations and Enforcement (BIE), the 11 individuals were found to have committed fraudulent iGaming transactions.
The list of fraudulent conduct included:
- Opening accounts with iGaming operators using other people’s names and identities.
- Funding accounts without engaging in any gaming activity.
- Illegal chargeback requests.
- Withdrawing funds to personal bank accounts from casino accounts opened under an assumed
identity.
With these additions, the iGaming Involuntary Exclusion List now totals 30 people banned from accessing iGaming in Pennsylvania. The PGCB also publishes similar lists for casinos and video gaming terminals.
In November, the board handed out several punishments for casino violations, including four separate incidents of leaving minors unattended in vehicles while gambling at Pennsylvania casinos.
