My analysis
Jose Iglesias is one of the unsung heroes on this "OMG" Mets team and he’s showing that in the postseason. After an impressive season in which he hit .337 with 39 runs and 26 RBI in 85 games, he’s 4-for-12 in the playoffs with one run scored and two RBI.
Iglesias picked up both of those RBI in Tuesday’s Game 3 win, where he extended his modest postseason hitting streak to three games. Things should continue to go well for the veteran infielder given the opposition on the mound.
Suarez has not fared well against Iglesias, as the Mets infielder has gone 6-for-8 with two doubles against the southpaw.
Iglesias has been much better vs. LHP (.402 batting average) than vs. RHP (.303) this season, and the same goes for his home (.404) and road (.292) splits. He’s batting in the middle of the Mets lineup as well, which gives him a chance to cash this bet in several ways.
Finally, Iglesias has gone Over 1.5 H+R+RBI in nine of 11 meetings against the Phillies this season. Take the chance on him doing it again at just -120 here
