The Celtics and Kings meet for the second and final time this season, and Boston will look to avenge a 114-97 home loss suffered on January 10. Sacramento lists Malik Monk, Domantas Sabonis and Devin Carter as questionable, and Boston lists Jaylen Brown with that status as of late Monday afternoon.

My Celtics vs Kings predictions expect Kristaps Porzingis and Jayson Tatum to deliver strong performances on the road and for DeMar DeRozan to remain steady as a scorer at home.

Celtics vs Kings prediction

My best bet: Kristaps Porzingis Over 28.5 points+rebounds+assists (-110 at bet365)

My analysis
Kristaps Porzingis has appeared in just 35 games this season, but he’s been impactful when available, averaging 19.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, and two dimes. Those numbers are good for 28.4 PRA, just a hair under his combo line.

Porzingis sat out Sunday for the first half of the Boston Celtics' back-to-back set, but in three games prior, he averaged a healthy 25.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, and three assists, putting him comfortably Over 28.5 PRA twice in that span.

Boston’s big man has gone for 29 or more PRA in nearly half of his games, doing so in 16 of 35 overall and reaching exactly 28 PRA five more times.

Porzingis found success against the Sacramento Kings in his first meeting of the season, dropping 22/10. He excelled against the Kings a season ago, finishing with PRA totals of 33 and 35, and in the season before he joined Boston, he posted 21, 39, and 34 PRA.

Sacramento’s defense has been generous to opposing centers this season, allowing 41.2 PRA to the position. Over the last seven, the Kings have allowed opposing big men to average 42.1 PRA.

Porzingis has been too impactful not to bet the Over on this mispriced line, and he should log big minutes at center with Al Horford on the sideline.

Celtics vs Kings same-game parlay

Kristaps Porzingis Over 28.5 pts+reb+ast

Jayson Tatum 25+ points

DeMar DeRozan 20+ points

Jayson Tatum is averaging 27.2 points per game this season, including 27.7 on the road. He’s hit the Over in 39 of 65 games overall, and he’s reached that mark in six of his last seven. The Kings have allowed the second-most points per game to PFs this season at 24.5, and Sacramento has surrendered 26.9 points per game to the position across the last seven.

DeMar DeRozan’s scoring line is set at 22.5 points, but he’s had a knack for scoring exactly 22 points recently. For that reason, I’ll take his alt-scoring line down three points for a more reliable outcome. DeRozan has reached 20 points in six straight and 11 of 12, and he’s reached that milestone in 42 of 65 outings this season.
