I’ll include two stars from the matchup in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jaylen Brown. The likes of Anthony Edwards and Ja Morant will be discussed as well.

DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for March 12

Timberwolves Anthony Edwards 26.5 points: MORE

We’ve seen Anthony Edwards put together numerous huge performances this season. He’s averaging 25.6 points per game since the All-Star break and although Ant has only scored more than 26.5 points twice in his last five appearances, there’s reason to believe that he will show out tonight.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are facing the Denver Nuggets and Edwards has torched them this season, scoring 63 points across two meetings. This feels like the perfect opportunity for the young guard to erupt.

Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 32.5 points: MORE

I locked in this entry two days ago because Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is playing at a ridiculous level. He unfortunately scored just 25 in a loss to the Nuggets, but the Canadian has registered more than 32.5 points in three of his last five outings, scoring 51, 41, and 40. SGA is truly unstoppable with the rock in his hands.

It’s another marquee matchup tonight for the Oklahoma City Thunder as they take on the Boston Celtics. Gilgeous-Alexander did his thing against them earlier in the campaign, producing 33 points. I expect him to bounce back. OKC is also without Jalen Williams here, putting more offensive load on SGA’s shoulders.

Grizzlies Ja Morant 7.5 assists: MORE

Ja Morant has always been a talented playmaker. While he’s averaging fewer assists this season than the past two at 7.5, that still leads the Memphis Grizzlies. Morant has compiled more than 7.5 dimes just twice in his last five but also finished with seven in one of those contests as well.

The Grizz face the lowly Utah Jazz this evening, who are 29th in dimes allowed. Ja also picked them apart already this season, totaling 17 dimes across two meetings.

Timberwolves Julius Randle 6.5 rebounds: MORE

Julius Randle has fit in nicely with the Timberwolves. The big man is averaging 7.3 boards per game and has grabbed more than 6.5 in four consecutive appearances, registering 8, 10, 10, and 7, respectively.

Randle has averaged exactly 6.5 boards against the Nuggets this season as well. He’s making his impact felt on the glass and I expect that to continue.

Raptors Jamal Shead 12.5 points: LESS

I know, Jamal Shead isn’t exactly a household name. The rookie out of Houston is a bench piece for the Toronto Raptors, but I’m eyeing this entry because it does offer value. While Shead is playing nearly 25 minutes per game in March, he’s averaging just 9.4 points.

Shead has scored less than 12.5 points in 12 straight. Despite more playing time, he doesn’t contribute a ton when it comes to putting the rock in the basket and we usually see single digits in scoring from him.

Celtics Jaylen Brown 24.5 points: MORE

The NBA Finals MVP is having another impressive campaign for the defending champions, averaging 23.3 PPG. He’s balling out lately, registering more than 24.5 points in three of his last five. Jaylen Brown has dropped 31 and 26 points in back-to-back games as well.

The C’s host the Thunder tonight and Brown plays substantially better at home, averaging 25.1 points compared to 21 on the road. He’s also putting up 25.3 PPG since the All-Star festivities. Brown will stay hot.
