DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for December 30
Nikola Jokic 28.5 Points: LESS
It’s no secret Nikola Jokic is arguably the best player in the Association, and he could very well win another MVP. The big man is putting up godly numbers across the board, averaging 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 9.5 assists.
However, he’s scored less than 28.5 points in three of his last six contests and finished below his total here in one of his two appearances against the Jazz this season.
Darius Garland 19.5 Points: MORE
I’m all aboard the Darius Garland train, who is really proving his worth this season after trade rumors swirled for most of last summer. Garland is averaging 20.6 ppg and shooting an efficient 40% from 3-point land. The former Vanderbilt standout has posted more than 19.5 points in three consecutive outings and five of his last seven.
He faced the Warriors earlier this season and dropped 27 on them.
Josh Hart 5.5 Assists: MORE
Josh Hart has proven to be an important piece for the Knicks in a variety of ways. I'm going to focus on his playmaking here. Hart is averaging 5.4 assists this season, which is a career-high. He just dished out seven dimes against the Wizards, who the Knicks will face again tonight.
Washington is terrible defensively and allows the fifth-most assists per contest. Even though Hart has only collected more than 5.5 assists in three of the last seven, I have faith he can replicate his last performance vs. the Wiz again.
Walker Kessler 9.5 Rebounds: MORE
Walker Kessler is dominating the glass this season, averaging 10.9 rebounds per night.
There are a lot of reasons to like this entry. Kessler has brought down more than 9.5 boards in four of his last five appearances, and he just had 16 rebounds in back-to-back games against the Blazers and Cavaliers. Kessler has also compiled more than 9.5 rebounds in both games against tonight’s opponent, the Nuggets.
Jarrett Allen 12.5 Points: LESS
Jarrett Allen is only averaging 13.3 ppg and has been struggling lately. The big man has scored less than 12.5 points in four of his last five outings.
He scored 13 against the Warriors in early November, but there really isn’t enough evidence for me to take Allen to score more than tonight’s total. He can be inconsistent at times when it comes to scoring the basketball.
Paul George 17.5 Points: LESS
Paul George has not exactly been as advertised for the 76ers. While he’s missed time due to injury, PG is only averaging 15.8 points in 19 contests. He's scored less than 17.5 in four of his previous five appearances and only scored 25 points across the last two contests.
Yes, the Sixers have Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, too, but George is expected to produce a lot more offensively. That’s the truth. He isn’t consistent, especially not lately.
