My best bet: Clippers -7 (-110 at bet365)
My analysis
Although the Memphis Grizzlies offense has managed to stay afloat without Ja Morant, more injuries have since come their way.
They’re now playing without Brandon Clarke, putting additional pressure on an already shaky frontcourt in terms of rebounding — and they may also be without Desmond Bane on top of it all.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers continue to dazzle on offense. They’re finally healthy, and they enter Friday as the top mid-range offense in the league this month. For Memphis, the loss of Bane would put the Grizzlies in an even more precarious spot defensively given he and Clarke have done an excellent job in limiting opponents’ success on jumpers.
Against an offense that has been this efficient, scoring the ball will be paramount to keeping things close, and that would seem to take a massive hit with Clarke and Bane sidelined. When Morant has been off the floor, Memphis has seen nearly a five-point increase in its 3-point shooting frequency, which is tough news considering the Clippers continue to stop the 3-pointer at a formidable rate — ranking eighth this month.
I don’t see any avenue to success in this one for Memphis, which is taking fewer shots at the rim without Morant on the floor and will need to take a high volume of looks inside the restricted area if it wants to exploit LA's lone soft spot.
With the battle on the glass-drawing level due to the injuries and Memphis looking average defensively, take the Clippers to pull away tonight.

James Harden Over 3.5 threes
Memphis has allowed the 11th-most rebounds to opposing power forwards this season and the fifth-most dimes. Kawhi Leonard is averaging 10 combined assists and rebounds in his last six games and has come home on this line in four of those nights.
The Grizzlies rank outside the top 10 in terms of attempts allowed this month and just 27th in 3-point defense, something that gets even trickier with Morant off the floor.
The biggest beneficiary should be James Harden, who went 5-for-13 from outside the last time these two teams met. Harden has now shot 38.3% from distance over his last eight games, and he's hit this number in three of his last five starts.
