We've got a jam-packed Friday of basketball action with 14 games on the NBA betting slate. With so many games, there are plenty of player prop bets to like, but I've managed to narrow it down to three of my favorite plays.

Today, I'm expecting Franz Wagner and C.J. McCollum to fill up the hoop while backing Reggie Bullock to stay busy on the boards. Here are my best free NBA player prop picks for December 23.

He's got magic

Don't look now, but the Orlando Magic have won seven of their last eight games, going 8-0 against the spread during that span. Tonight, they host the struggling San Antonio Spurs as 7-point faves.

Orlando swingman Franz Wagner sprained his ankle late in Monday's loss to the Hawks. While he was listed as questionable for Wednesday, he ended up playing 32 minutes and dropping 25 points.

The second-year player has emerged as an efficient scoring option for Orlando and is second on the team with 19.8 points per game.

He should be able to put together another strong scoring performance tonight against a Spurs squad that plays at a fast pace and allows a league-high 119.7 ppg.

Wagner's points total for tonight is set at 18.5, a number he has eclipsed in six of his last seven games. With Wagner averaging 22.3 ppg over that span, take his over at 18.5.

Franz Wagner Prop: Over 18.5 points (-110)

Mr. December

Mavs small forward Reggie Bullock has seen a massive uptick in his playing time lately and is averaging 35.2 minutes per game over his last six contests.

While his scoring numbers have been volatile, he's been consistently working hard on the glass and has pulled down at least six rebounds in three-straight games — including a season-high eight boards against Cleveland last Saturday.

Today the Mavs are playing against the Rockets, who shoot a league-worst 44.3% from the floor. This should lead to plenty of rebounding opportunities.

With Dorian Finney-Smith expected to miss today's game with a hip injury, expect Bullock to log plenty of playing time again and go Over his rebounds total set at 3.5.

Reggie Bullock Prop: Over 3.5 rebounds (-135)

CJ steps up

CJ McCollum is coming off a monster 40-point performance against the Spurs last night, where he helped the Pelicans end their four-game losing streak. Today, the Pels head to Oklahoma City to face off against the Thunder.

With Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson sidelined by injuries, McCollum has seen his shot attempts and scoring volume soar for New Orleans.

He has scored at least 27 points in four consecutive games and has taken at least 24 field goal attempts in three of those contests. With the Thunder 25th in the league in scoring defense with 116.5 ppg allowed, take the Over 24.5 on McCollum's points total today.

CJ McCollum Prop: Over 24.5 points (-118)
