The Golden State Warriors boast the NBA's best record and are riding a five-game winning streak into Friday night's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Blazers have been woefully inept away from the friendly confines of the Pacific Northwest, and their roadmap doesn't get any easier on Friday night.

Can Dame Lillard's club find its footing on the road against the powerhouse Warriors or will Steph Curry & Co. lay waste to its hostile visitors?

Check out our best free NBA betting picks and predictions for the Portland Trail Blazers vs. Golden State Warriors on Nov. 26, with tip-off set for 10:00 p.m. ET.

Trail Blazers vs Warriors picks and predictions

Our predictions are compiled from the analysis of the spread and total and are indications of where we are leaning for this game.
Our best bet is the play that we like the most for this game, which we would actually put some of our bankroll behind.

The Warriors enter Friday's game winners of five straight and nine of their last 10 overall. Their lone home loss on the season came in an overtime clash against the Memphis Grizzlies on Oct. 28. Since then, Golden State has won all nine games at the Chase Center and none came by a particularly slim margin. All of those contests have seen the Dubs win by no fewer than 13 points.

The Blazers, meanwhile, find themselves on the opposite end of the spectrum. They're performing something of a Jekyll & Hyde act going from a dominant force at home (9-1) to utter embarrassments on the road (1-8). Before falling to the Kings in Sacramento on Wednesday, the Blazers rattled off a four-game win streak ... at home.

Both teams feature offenses ranking near the top of the league with the Warriors leading most categories, including offensive efficiency (111.7) and effective field goal percentage (56.5). The Blazers aren't far behind, ranking fourth and fifth, respectively, in those categories. The biggest disparity between these clubs comes on the defensive side of the ball where Golden State excels and Portland ranks near the league's basement. The Trail Blazers defense will not be able to contain Steph Curry, who has averaged nearly 28 points per game at home this season.

Portland getting torched on the road is becoming routine as they've covered only one spread in their last 11 games away from home. That trend won't change against the best team in the game.

Prediction: Warriors -6.5 (-110)

While no team scores like Golden State, taking the Over on such a lofty total is a set-up for disappointment. The Warriors are averaging an absurd 114.3 points per game, but their games have only eclipsed the Over a third of the time this season. When you're this good at draining baskets, the odds can sometimes be too inflated.

The Blazers routinely get boat raced on the road, and they're consistently crossing the century mark in the scoring column, but the Warriors are nearly as elite on the defensive end as they are on offense. This isn't the Kings, with whom the Blazers combined for 246 points on Wednesday.

Despite both teams featuring top-5 offenses this season, the Warriors allow the fewest points per game in the league. The Blazers rank in the bottom third in pace, which doesn't bode well when this inevitably turns into a shootout. Even if this winds up being a blowout, you can't count on Portland to buoy the total.

Prediction: Under 223.5 (-110)

The Blazers simply don't cover on the road and they're traveling to face the best overall team in the NBA that is virtually unbeatable on its home court. Portland has the offensive juice to put up big numbers against most opponents, but its defense leaves a lot to be desired and just allowed the Kings to put up 125 points.

Each of the Warriors' last nine home victories has been by double-digit deficits. There is no reason why this should change when the Trail Blazers seemingly turn into the Washington Generals every time they leave home.

Portland's offense is potent enough to push this contest into the Over even against Golden State's stingy unit, especially if Lillard, CJ McCollum, and Norm Powell touch their averages. But before keeping things close against the Kings, the Blazers got blown away 124-95 by the Nuggets in Denver on November 14. Expect more

Pick: Warriors -6.5 (-110)
