It was the Victor Wembanyama show Thursday night in Paris, as France’s most prominent NBA star shined in the international showcase.

The next question is: what does the 7-foot-4 alien have for an encore for his adoring fans?

I’ve checked the available Victor Wembanayama odds and share my NBA picks below, as I expect a bit of a letdown performance from San Antonio's superstar on Saturday, January 25.

Victor Wembanyama best bet

Victor Wembanyama Under 28.5 points (-115 at bet365)

As detailed in my full Pacers vs. Spurs predictions, the Indiana Pacers left their defense on the tarmac in North America, as they were lit up in a 140-110 drubbing.

Victor Wembanyama was a beast in his 32 minutes of work for the San Antonio Spurs, pouring in 30 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks — all game highs — as well as adding six assists. While he should be prominent again, his recent body of work shows topping Saturday's line of 28.5 points won’t be easy.

Wemby’s 30-point outburst was easily his highest scoring output over the last eight games, when he scored 23 points or less in each, falling under 20 points in three of those contests.

The Frenchman hasn’t strung together big scoring outputs all season; in each of his last three games where he scored 30 or more, Wembanyama has averaged 24.3 points in the following start.

Victor Wembanyama same-game parlay

Victor Wembanyama Under 28.5 points

Victor Wembanyama Over 11.5 rebounds

Victor Wembanyama Under 3.5 threes

It’s been the best rebounding month of the 21-year-old’s career, as Wembanyama is averaging 13.1 rebounds per game in nine January games, hitting double digits in all but one contest.

I expect Wemby to once cash his rebounding prop, as he has grabbed at least 12 boards on five separate occasions this month. In three career games against the Pacers, he’s reached double-digit rebounds in each, including 12 in the previous meeting. The Pacers also rank just 17th in rebounding on the year, including a lowly 22nd on the defensive side of the glass.

Meanwhile, the Spurs unicorn went 4-for-11 from distance on Thursday, marking just the third time this month that he’s bested his 3.5-make prop. The Pacers are a Top-10 team defending the 3-ball, and prior to the Spurs going loco from deep and hitting 18-for-36 in their win, they had held their previous 10 opponents to a lowly 33.4% mark.

Christmas Day marked the last time Wemby had back-to-back games with four or more threes, and I don't expect any Saturday presents from the French star.
