The Golden State Warriors (13-12) have stabilized in the last few weeks, winning seven of their last 10. They are coming off a home loss to the Pacers on Monday and will now hit the road where they have struggled mightily.
They will face off against the Utah Jazz (14-12), who, after a 10-3 start, have gone 4-9 since. The Jazz's electric start has been largely thanks to their performance at home, sitting 8-4 on the year from the confines of Vivint Arena.
Can the Warriors extend their recent success to the road, or will the Jazz continue to hold firm at home and stay afloat in the (early) playoff picture?

Warriors vs Jazz picks and predictions
In early November, the sky was falling for the Warriors following a five-game losing streak and a 3-7 start on the season just months removed from their dynasty-enriching Finals win. There were serious questions across the roster, whether it was the hoopla generated from the Draymond Green and Jordan Poole debacle, Klay Thompson's concerning slow start, or the seemingly impossible load Steph Curry had to shoulder.
Curry has continued to be brilliant, and his numbers nearly mirror his 2015-2016 campaign, during which he won unanimous MVP and the Warriors broke the record for regular season wins. To no surprise, the Warriors' recent successes have come due to the rest of the roster stepping up.
In 12 of the Warriors' first 13 games, Curry was the team's leading scorer. In the last 10 games (in which the Warriors have won seven), Golden State has had four different leading scorers. During that span, Thompson has averaged 22.4 points (including a 41-point outing), Andrew Wiggins has averaged 21.0, and Poole has come in at 18.3 per contest. Having a litany of scoring threats has opened up the floor for everyone involved.
During this span, the Warriors have led the league in assist percentage by a wide margin, as the gap between them and the second-best mark is the same gap between the second-best mark and the 15th. The scary part? Golden State ranks just 10th in offensive rating during that time, and there is clear room for more improvement.
However, that refinement may not come Wednesday night, with Curry, Wiggins, and Green all sitting out for this contest. That certainly won't help the Warriors improve their 2-10 road record tonight against a Jazz team that have protected home court very amicably this year.
The Jazz are amidst a downswing following a 10-3 start that shocked the NBA world, having lost nine of their last 13 games. The silver lining amongst that stretch is that just one of those nine losses was by double digits, and they are still doing the same things that generated that hot start.
Even during this 13-game stretch, the Jazz rank second in offensive rating and are still crashing the boards effectively (they rank sixth in offensive rebounding rate). If anything, this stretch of poor results is the perfect lure for a big win.
The Jazz are nowhere near as bad as their recent results suggest, and the large spread is not nearly as surprising as most will make it seem to be.

Warriors vs Jazz spread analysis
The spread opened with the Warriors favored by 1.5 points, but following the ruling out of several key Golden State stars, the line has shifted dramatically in the favor of the Jazz.
Utah is one of the league's better teams against the spread at 15-11, which includes a 7-5 record at home. As a home favorite, however, the Jazz have gone 3-5 ATS.
Golden State ranks among the bottom third of teams ATS at 11-14. It is by far the worst team at covering on the road, with a 2-10 record in that split.
Warriors vs Jazz Over/Under analysis
The total opened at a loftier 239, but when the injury report was released on Tuesday, the number moved in a big way. The total now sits around 233 at most books.
The Warriors are 13-11-1 to the Over this year and 7-4-1 to the Over as an away team. They have gone Under in their last three.
The Jazz are 14-12 to the Over this year and an even 6-6 at home. Utah has gone Under in three of their last five but went Over in the five games prior to that.
