The Big East Conference tournament odds were dominated from start to finish by the UConn Huskies.
With three straight wins and only one of those coming by fewer than 16 points, UConn is back in the Winner's Circle for the first time since 2011. The Huskies took down No. 3 Marquette in the tournament final, which will now have to lean on its March Madness odds for hardware.

Big East Conference Tournament analysis
3/17: The No. 1-seeded UConn Huskies left no doubt. After opening the tournament as a -165 odds-on favorite, they were an even bigger favorite to take down No. 3 Marquette in the tournament final and handled business in a 16-point victory on the backs of a 47-33 second half.
Previous Big East Conference Tournament action
3/16: UConn continued its dominance, beating St. John's to reach the final and maintain its favorite status. And while upstart Providence had momentum in its favor against Marquette, the Golden Eagles proved to still be stout with Tyler Kolek, winning comfortably to challenge for the crown.
3/15: The biggest game in the quarterfinals was St. John's win over Seton Hall, which bracketologists believe punched the Johnnies' ticket to the Big Dance. An upset over UConn would seal the deal, but considering it doesn't appear necessary, the Huskies opened at -9.5 to win the game and are around -300 to win overall.
The other matchup sees No. 3 Marquette (4/1 range) at -4.5 vs. Providence, which upset Creighton in the quarters but still needs at least one more win to have a realistic shot at not having its bubble burst come Selection Sunday.
3/14: All three favorites (No. 9 Xavier was actually -2.5 vs. No. 8 Butler) covered in the opening round, but quarterfinal action could be mostly lopsided as No. 1 UConn (the odds-on favorite to win the tourney) opened -15.5 against Xavier, while No. 2 favorite Creighton (4/1 range) is a 7.5-point favorite over Providence.
No. 3 Marquette (5/1 to 8/1) is -4.5 against Villanova, as star Tyler Kolek is not expected to play, but the Golden Eagles are almost assuredly in the Big Dance already, leaving the most intriguing match of the day the 4/5 battle between Seton Hall and St. John's: Many bracketologists believe the winner will secure an at-large berth — and the loser is likely starting at the NIT — and the Red Storm opened at -4.5.
3/13: With tournament action starting this afternoon, the Huskies are still heavily favored to claim the Big East crown, but they're not the most popular public pick to do so.
BetMGM is reporting that the third-seeded Marquette Golden Eagles, sitting in the 6/1 range, lead all schools in the conference in both tickets and handle — although a risky bet considering star guard Tyler Kolek (arguably the best player in the conference) has missed the last three games with an oblique injury and has no timetable to return.
However, while Shaka Smart's crew is the most popular team, they aren't getting overwhelming support, with just 27.5% tickets and 38.6% of the handle, showing how deep the Big East is with potential winners beyond UConn.
3/11: To no one's surprise, the UConn Huskies opened as the odds-on favorite to win the Big East tourney, sitting as short as -165 at some outlets. The second and third seeds, Creighton and Marquette, sit in the +400 to +500 range, with every other school at around 15/1 or longer.

The Huskies easily clinched the Big East title ahead of the end of the regular season, finishing four games ahead of anyone else, with their only conference losses coming in road games vs. Seton Hall and Creighton.
Creighton and Marquette both finished 14-6 — the latter more impressive as star guard Tyler Kolek has been sidelined down the stretch — while DePaul truly had a season to forget, finishing winless in conference play.

*There was no winner in 2020 as the tournament was canceled due to COVID-19
The Villanova Wildcats have been the class of the modern Big East, winning five of the last 10 conference tournaments — and finishing as runner-up in another. Its six Big East titles rank third all-time behind UConn and Georgetown at eight apiece. Creighton and Xavier are the only current members of the conference without a tournament title, while St. John's has the longest drought, having not won the Big East title since 2000.
