The Brown Bears had a disappointing season, but they’ve found new life in the Ivy League Tournament and are only one victory away from hearing their name called on Selection Sunday.
The college basketball odds don’t agree with the Bears' resurgence, however, as the Yale Bulldogs are listed as heavy favorites to defeat Brown on Sunday afternoon.

Brown vs Yale picks and predictions
The Brown Bears have come a long way in a very short time. After a disappointing 13-17 season, the Bears have reeled off seven consecutive victories, including a 90-81 upset win over No. 1 seed Princeton.
The Bears are just one victory away from accepting an automatic bid into next week's NCAA March Madness tourney, but standing in their way is a Yale Bulldogs program just as hungry as Brown.
Sunday’s Ivy League finale marks the third meeting between the two this season. They split their season series but failed to hold serve in their buildings — Yale won the first meeting by 10 points, while Brown needed overtime to sneak past the Bulldogs on March 9 for a three-point victory.
KenPom ranks the Bulldogs No. 2 in offensive efficiency and No. 1 in defensive efficiency on their Ivy League rankings, and they are tough customers in any gym.
Although the Bears have covered in eight of their past 10, they don’t have the defense to slow down a Bulldogs team knocking down nearly 35% of shots from downtown. Brown also coughs up the ball far too often, which won’t work against a Yale stop unit averaging 13.1 points per game from turnovers.
Yale is the better team on both ends of the floor, with better rebounders and shooters. Take the Bulldogs to take care of the rock and cover the -7.5 on Sunday.
My best bet: Yale -7.5 (-110 at DraftKings)

Brown vs Yale spread and Over/Under analysis
Although Sunday is a championship tilt for all the postseason marbles, I expect plenty of offense. These two programs' previous two tilts also cleared tomorrow's opening total of 134.5, so If you like the Over, grab it immediately.
Yale has dominated the past 10 meetings. The Bulldogs are 9-1 straight up in their last 10 tilts and had defeated Brown nine consecutive times until the Bears upended the Bulldogs on March 9.
