The Texas A&M Aggies will take on the Wisconsin Badgers in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational Tournament. A&M is coming into this game with an undefeated record, but the road to 4-0 hasn’t exactly been easy.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin is 2-1 on the season and is coming off a loss to Providence, 63-58. With the game being played in the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, both of these teams are essentially playing at 11 a.m.
Whichever team gets the better night's sleep could be the winner. Here are our free college basketball betting picks and predictions between the Texas A&M Aggies and Wisconsin Badgers.

Spread analysis
The Wisconsin Badgers haven’t been very impressive this season with two wins against bottom-tier teams in St Francis NY and Green Bay and a loss against Providence.
However, the Badgers will have their chance at proving themselves against an undefeated Texas A&M team.
Wisconsin is one of the top defenses on KenPom, ranking 11th in adjusted defensive efficiency. But offensively, Wisconsin is struggling. The Badgers are shooting an effective field goal percentage of 43.5 percent, and leading scorer Brad Davison is shooting 45.5 percent and averaging 16 points, but only one other key player is shooting above 45 percent on the season.
On the other hand, Texas A&M has played well defensively, forcing 28.6 percent turnovers through four games this season. However, it’ll be a tough task trying to force turnovers against a Badgers team that only turns the ball over 13 percent of the time.
The Aggies are also getting beat on the glass, giving up 32.9 percent offensive rebounds. So, despite Wisconsin taking bad shots, it’ll have second chance opportunities.
Texas A&M has also turned the ball over 20.9 percent of the time and while the Aggies are shooting better from the field, the turnovers will allow Wisconsin to take more shots throughout the game.
I’ll ride with Wisconsin.
Prediction: Wisconsin -2.5 (-110)
Over/Under analysis
There’s nothing to love about the Texas A&M offense. It's getting to the line at a solid rate but there’s a good chance that the Aggies don’t get as many free-throw opportunities against a more disciplined Wisconsin team.
The Aggies could very easily turn the ball over at least 20 percent of the time and, on top of that, A&M is taking 17.8 seconds per possession on average.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin is shooting 28.6 percent from three and 43.8 percent from inside. While second-chance opportunities will come, the Badgers are also taking 17.7 seconds per possession.
The under is a really low number but I still like it.
Prediction: Under 121.5 (-110)
Best bet
Texas A&M has played well this season with just one little scare against Abilene Christian, in double overtime. Abilene Christian made the NCAA Tournament last year, is extremely well-coached, and has a quality mid-major basketball program.
But the real test comes against Wisconsin, especially on the boards. Plus, A&M has been a bit careless with the ball from the start, and I don’t believe Wisconsin is really that poor of a shooting team either.
I’ll stick with the Badgers as my best bet.
