An offseason that was filled with question marks surrounding Aaron Rodgers finally came to an end when he and the Green Bay Packers agreed on a three-year deal to keep the reigning back-to-back MVP in Wisconsin.

However, pain and agony followed suit for a team that finished 8-9 and missed out on the playoffs since 2018 — capped off by a home loss to the Detroit Lions.

Aaron Rodgers is by no means guaranteed to be leaving Green Bay — and frankly due to his massive contract it's quite unlikely — but that hasn't stopped NFL odds from looking at other avenues. Check out the full odds for Aaron Rodgers next team below!

Aaron Rodgers' contract situation at a glance

After what seemed like an eternity of contract negotiations, Rodgers and the Packers agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $150.8 million, with practically the entire contract guaranteed. Rodgers also has multiple option clauses in his contract that could see him on the payroll into 2026.

Money-wise, trading Aaron Rodgers would make the most sense for Green Bay if they decide to rebuild. However, this will be a lofty ask as whatever franchise decides to make the move will be responsible for $59,515,000 if they do not exercise his option to add another season.

If Rodgers retires, he will forfeit all guaranteed money for next season, which seems to make zero sense from a financial standpoint. Rodgers may not be happy with the team's current situation, but walking away from that kind of money would be ludicrous.

Favorites to sign Aaron Rodgers

Las Vegas Raiders (-390)

This option seems to make the most sense. The team is seemingly ready to move on from Derek Carr, opening the door for the Packers and Vegas to do a quarterback swap. Another key piece in this move would be the reunion between Rodgers and Davante Adams.

We've seen what those two can accomplish together and it just feels right to see them back. Carr and Adams never clicked quite as they should, and there are certainly more weapons in Vegas at No. 12s disposal than he had in Green Bay.

Green Bay Packers (+300)

As stated above, this is the most likely scenario financially. Rodgers and the Packers have had many fights before, but like every toxic relationship, the couple eventually works out their differences and stays together.

This season was rough to watch, but Aaron Rodgers has no shortage of confidence and believes he can still win an MVP in the right situation. Whether that situation is with Green Bay is too early to tell, but it's hard to imagine Rodgers can find that type of success with the current roster he had last year.

An Aaron Rodgers trade will come with a big price tag for any team looking to get him, so banking on him to remain with the Cheeseheads seems like a decent choice.

New York Jets (+600)

Ah, the New York Jets. This team has a ready-to-compete defense and likely would have been playing in the postseason if not for an incompetent trio of QBs. Joe Flacco's best days are well behind him, and Zach Wilson may very well be on his way out of the league.

San Francisco 49ers (+2,000)

Now we're getting into long-shot territory, but as the saying goes, never say never. The 49ers are equipped with potentially the greatest group of offensive weapons ever assembled and would be more than ready to give Rodgers a shot at one final Super Bowl before retirement.

The 49ers can restructure contracts to clear up the cap space to make this work, but with Brock Purdy continuing to impress and the likes of Trey Lance still standing in the wings, is the team that passed on Rodgers back in 2005 ready to right their wrongs?

It's also interesting to see if San Francisco would prefer to trade for Rodgers instead of signing Tom Brady, whose next team odds signal he may also be heading to the Bay Area.

New England Patriots (+2,000)

Okay, how fun would this be? Aaron Rodgers gets traded to the team that Tom Brady — arguably Rodgers' biggest rival — made a career with winning six Super Bowls. This seems as unlikely as the +2,000 odds indicate, with Mac Jones still adapting to the league and New England's history of not being willing to spend a boatload of money on one player. But I mean come on, let's get crazy and make this happen Pats!

New York Jets next QB odds

Quarterback Odds
Aaron Rodgers +140
Lamar Jackson +325
Derek Carr +400
Jimmy Garoppolo +450
Mike White +550
Zach Wilson +800
Bryce Young +2,200
C.J. Stroud +2,200
Will Levis +2,200
Baker Mayfield +3,000
Joe Flacco +3,000
Tom Brady +3,000

Odds as of February 6, 2023.

Rodgers would be able to come into a situation of a young team that is seemingly improving and will be an immediate upgrade over any of the Jets' signal callers this year. New York has plenty of cap space to take on Rodgers' massive deal, and although Mike White showed flashes of something that somewhat resembled an NFL QB, no one in their right mind is passing up Rodgers if a deal can be made.
