Opposing running backs have gone through the Dallas Cowboys defense like a hot knife through butter in 2024. The Cowboys have allowed 22 rushing touchdowns this year, the most in the NFL.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers bring a two-headed monster in the backfield in the form of Bucky Irving and Rachaad White into this one. Irving has electrified in his rookie year by rushing for 852 yards while adding 296 yards as a receiver, but he's on the injury report as questionable, casting doubt on his fitness level for Sunday.
White has no injury designation heading into Week 16, and he's rushed for 573 yards and gone for another 339 through the air.
Most importantly, White has outdone Irving in all-purpose touchdowns this year, 9-6. Add in the fact we're getting a better price on White (+105 vs. -120 for Irving), and the best bet on the Bucs' side for an SNF anytime TD becomes clear.

CeeDee Lamb is considered questionable for Sunday's showdown with the Bucs, and even if he suits up, my Buccaneers vs. Cowboys predictions figure he will be at less than 100%.
Lamb gets the lion's share of targets inside the 20-yard line with 17, eighth in the entire league, for a Dallas team that's recorded just four rushing touchdowns all season. That paves the way for some different Cowboys receivers to get an extra look or two down low and perhaps hit paydirt this week.
Jalen Tolbert is the most appealing of these options at +500. He's been sneaky-dangerous in the red zone this year, hauling in six of 11 targets for five touchdowns. He matches up with a Tampa defense that's allowed 23 receiving touchdowns this year, the eighth-worst mark in the NFL.
