Texans vs Chiefs best bet, player props, SGP

Texans vs Chiefs best bet

  • C.J. Stroud Under 228.5 passing yards (-115 BetMGM)

C.J. Stroud’s completion rate outdoors is just below 59% (compared to 65% inside), his average yards per attempt sinks to 6.6 (versus eight yards per throw indoors), and his passer rating sits short of 84.0, in stark contrast to a 99.6 rating away from the elements.

The forecast for Saturday’s 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff calls for sub-freezing temperatures and wind gusts flirting with 30 mph, which will make it “feel like” 11 degrees. NFL games see an 8% decrease in passing production in games with temperatures below 25 degrees.

Texans vs Chiefs props

  • Patrick Mahomes Under 37.5 passing attempts (-125 BetMGM)
  • C.J. Stroud Over 20.5 passing completions (-130 BetMGM)
  • Joe Mixon Over 16.5 receiving yards (-115 BetMGM)

Texans vs Chiefs anytime TD picks

  • Joe Mixon anytime TD (+125 BetMGM)
  • Travis Kelce anytime TD (+150 BetMGM)

Patrick Mahomes prop

  • Patrick Mahomes longest rush Over 12.5 yards (-110 BetMGM)

Texans vs Chiefs SGP

C.J. Stroud Under 228.5 passing yards

Chiefs -8.5

Isiah Pacheco anytime TD

Stroud’s stats slide outside and he faces the best pass defense in the NFL on Saturday night.

The Chiefs have another gear in the playoffs and will flex their muscle with a big win to start the Super Bowl run.

Isiah Pacheco will get the goal-line carries and is a monster to deal with in the playoffs.

Commanders vs Lions best bet, player props, SGP

Commanders vs Lions best bet

  • Zach Ertz Over 3.5 receptions (-113 Caesars)

The Detroit Lions' man coverage will take away Jayden Daniels’ top threats like Terry McLaurin and have him settling for his checkdown options.

Zach Ertz has been Daniels’ safety blanket in his first year. He finished the regular season second on the team with 91 targets, hauling 66 of those passes for an average of 3.9 receptions per game.

Commanders vs Lions props

  • Jared Goff Under 272.5 passing yards (-117 Caesars)
  • Jayden Daniels Over 55.5 rushing yards (-117 Caesars)
  • Terry McLaurin Over 68.5 receiving yards (-117 Caesars)

Commanders vs Lions anytime TD picks

  • Jayden Daniels anytime TD (+140 Caesars)
  • Sam LaPorta anytime TD (+135 Caesars)

Jayden Daniels prop

  • Over 234.5 passing yards (-117 Caesars)

Commanders vs Lions SGP

Zach Ertz Over 3.5 receptions

Olamide Zaccheaus anytime TD

Commanders +9.5

Ertz’s projections call for four catches, and the Lions defense will force Daniels to check it down to his TE.

Olamide Zaccheaus has been one of Daniels’ favorite options in the home stretch, and while he had a quiet Wild Card Round, he’s demonstrated a nose for the end zone.

I think this game will be closer than the books predict.

Rams vs Eagles best bet, player props, SGP

Rams vs Eagles best bet

The Los Angeles Rams have gone 6-1 straight up and against the spread in their last seven games. However, that stretch began after they lost 37-20 to the Philadelphia Eagles at home in Week 12.

Meanwhile, the Eagles have won 13 of their last 14 games, nine of which were by at least a touchdown.

This is also a tough travel spot for the Rams, who scrambled to a neutral site on Monday to avoid the fires in L.A. and now head to the East Coast on a short week. Back the Eagles to roll.

Rams vs Eagles props

  • A.J. Brown Under 69.5 receiving yards (-133 Caesars)
  • Saquon Barkley Under 112.5 rushing yards (-113 Caesars)
  • Cooper Kupp Under 3.5 receptions (-103 Caesars)

Rams vs Eagles anytime TD picks

  • Puka Nacua anytime TD  (+140 Caesars)
  • A.J. Brown anytime TD (+124 Caesars)

Saquon Barkley prop

  • Over 111.5 rushing yards (-117 Caesars)

Rams vs Eagles SGP

Eagles -6

Under 44

Saquon Barkley Over 11.5 rushing yards

Barkley has surpassed this number in four of his last five games, and had a career-high 255 yards on 26 carries against the Rams in Week 12.

L.A. is 26th in the league in yards allowed per carry (4.6) and 28th in average yards before contact allowed to running backs.

I'm betting on the Eagles to get out to an early lead and then rely on Barkley to control the clock while their elite defense prevents a comeback.

Ravens vs Bills best bet, player props, SGP

Ravens vs Bills best bet

  • Mark Andrews Over 39.5 receiving yards (-115 BetMGM)

From Week 5 onward, Mark Andrews has averaged 4.6 targets and 3.8 receptions per game, putting up almost 47 yards an outing in the final 13 games of the regular season.

He finished with just two catches on three targets for 27 yards in the win over Pittsburgh in the Wild Card Round — a result that had more to do with Baltimore relentlessly running the ball (only passed 21 times) than Andrews’ effort.

The Bills used to be notoriously stingy to the TE position but with coverage linebackers losing a step and their safeties not being much better, we’ve seen Buffalo allow the 12th-most receptions to tight ends in the regular season.

Ravens vs Bills props

  • Derrick Henry Over 19.5 rush attempts (-115 BetMGM)
  • Lamar Jackson Over 0.5 interceptions (-130 BetMGM)
  • Terrel Bernard Over 3.5 tackle assists (-115 BetMGM)

Ravens vs Bills anytime TD picks

  • Lamar Jackson anytime TD (+190 BetMGM)
  • Josh Allen anytime TD (+110 BetMGM)

Josh Allen prop

  • Josh Allen Over 8.5 rushing attempts (-128 BetMGM)

Lamar Jackson prop

  • Longest rush Over 16.5 yards (-110 BetMGM)

Ravens vs Bills SGP

Mark Andrews Over 39.5 receiving yards

Josh Allen anytime TD

Over 51.5

Mark Andrews can find space in the Bills schemes and is projected for as many as 45 receiving yards.

The Bills’ red-zone offense stalled against Denver, and I see Josh Allen running it in himself in those important spots.

With the Top 2 offenses in EPA per play and two QBs that can make magic happen, I believe we get plenty of points on Sunday night.
