Justin Herbert has quickly emerged as of of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. The Los Angeles Chargers gunslinger didn't miss a beat after taking the reigns from future Hall-of-Famer Philip Rivers in 2020, earning Offensive Rookie of the Year honors after setting the record for most passing touchdowns by a first year player (31). The highly-touted Oregon product now boasts the most passing yards in a quarterback's first three years of service.

Let's dive into Justin Herbert's regular and postseason record against every NFL team as he continues to etch his name in the history books.

Herbert vs the Los Angeles Rams

Thanks to playing in different conferences, Justin Herbert and the Chargers have only played their SoCal rivals once.

Last season, Herbert completed 21 of 28 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns in a dominant 31-10 rout of the Rams on New Year's Day.

With both teams sharing the home confines of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, bragging rights will always be on the table when these two clubs meet, regardless of how infrequent that may be.

Herbert vs the Jacksonville Jaguars

Despite an impressive rookie performance against Jacksonville in which Herbert passed for 347 yards and three touchdowns in a 39-29, the 25-year-old Pro Bowler will be known for being on the wrong side of one of the biggest playoff comebacks of all-time.

In what looked like a promising postseason debut for Herbert in 2022, the Chargers managed to cough up a 27-0 lead midway through their Wild Card matchup in Jacksonville. Trevor Lawrence overcame four first-half interceptions and shocked Herbert & Co. that night, leading the Jags to a 31-30 win on a go-ahead field goal at the buzzer.

Herbert vs the Denver Broncos

Herbert has faced the Broncos eight times in his career, and has lost four times.

In those games, the Chargers' pivot completed 66% of his passes with a TD-INT ratio of 11-6. Week 6 in 2022 was a thriller when Herbert led the Chargers to a 19-16 overtime win over Russell Wilson and the Broncos on Monday Night Football.

The Chargers had their hands full when they faced off against Denver in Week 14. Herbert broke the index finger of his right hand in the first half and had to watch helplessly as Los Angeles fell to Denver 24-7.

Herbert vs the Kansas City Chiefs

In another AFC West rivalry, Herbert has gone 2-6 against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The defending Super Bowl champs got the best of Herbert and LAC twice last season, despite the Chargers leading both games heading into the fourth quarter.

The Chargers haven't finished first in the AFC West since 2009, and there's no question that the road to winning the division runs through Kansas City yet again in 2024.
