My analysis
Lamar is on a heater right now and has thrown two or more passing touchdowns in each of his past five games and 11 of 16. One of those 11 games was also the previous meeting between these teams this season.
The Baltimore Ravens are 20.5-point favorites with BetMGM at the time of writing. That’s a huge spread, but it clearly shows we should be expecting to see touchdowns, and given the incredible form of Lamar, it makes sense we’ll see a lot of those through the air.
Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Joe Burrow have all had multiple TD passes against this Browns team in the past month, and so will Lamar.
We also need to factor in Lamar's injury risk in that game script. While he will be benched if the Ravens get too far ahead, you’d expect him to play until they’re a couple of scores up.
Would you risk letting him run with the ball ahead of the playoffs? No, meaning all rushing touchdowns will go to Derrick Henry.
However, with a tug-of-war for the MVP trophy between Lamar and Josh Allen, the team won't want to take the ball off the hands of their superstar QB. I expect we’re going to see Lamar get plenty of opportunities to shine from the pocket.
