Lamar Jackson Odds and SNF Props: Jackson Airs It Out in Jacksonville

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens are in the running for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, but they'll have to go through the Jags to get there. Or in this case, going over them might be better. Find out what that means in our NFL picks below.

Lamar Jackson SNF prop pick

Over 211.5 passing yards (-110)

My best Lamar Jackson bet here has to be backing the Over on his passing yards. The line alternates wildly between bookies, with some having as much as an eight-yard difference at the time of writing. I'm going to take 211.5, which is a number I can’t see Jackson failing to reach.

Firstly, we’ve seen this year that while Jackson is still the best rushing QB in the league, he’s far better with his arm than the other legitimate dual-threat QBs. Given the quality he possesses, the number 211.5 feels very low, in part because there’s always a chance that this becomes a Lamar Jackson rushing masterclass.

However, if you look, 211.5 is a number Jackson has exceeded in seven of 13 games so far this season, and most notably three times in the past four weeks. Don’t forget he’s also coming into this after a massive 316-yard game against the Rams. There were questions over how the passing game would fair without Mark Andrews, but there’s an argument that perhaps it’s now more varied and less focused around Andrews.

So we know Jackson is in good form, but what about the opposition? The Jacksonville Jaguars have been shredded in the past two weeks by the Bengals and Browns — giving up 65 points to two other AFC North teams — with Jake Browning and Joe Flacco under center... not exactly elite QBs.

We’ve seen all season the Jags are good against the run. However, that defense is simply terrible against the pass. They’ve allowed 265.2 yards per game in the air, second only to the Commanders as the worst in the NFL.

With Jackson in great form and facing a team who are top tier at stopping the run but terrible against the pass, it’s safe to assume we’ll see the Ravens focus on beating the Jags through the air.

Prop: Over 211.5 passing yards (-110 at bet365)

Lamar Jackson SNF same-game parlay

Lamar Jackson Over 211.5 passing yards

Lamar Jackson Over 1.5 passing touchdowns

Zay Flowers Over 4.5 receptions

I'm going to back Jackson to have Over 1.5 passing touchdowns. He’s achieved that in two of his past three games, and against a team terrible against the pass, he should have every opportunity to do it again.

To wrap up the SGP I'm going to back Zay Flowers to have Over 4.5 receptions. It’s a number he’s covered in three of his past four games. Not only that, but in the past two weeks he’s had 18 targets and is a player who Jackson and the Ravens’ offense focus on getting the ball. He should cover 4.5 receptions on SNF.
