Monday Night Football serves us up some more Week 3 odds, and that includes a double-header starting with the Philadelphia Eagles marching into Raymond James Stadium to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs are 5-point underdogs but they’ve exceeded expectations this season and are undefeated (albeit through just two games).

In our latest NFL picks, we're focusing on star wide receiver Mike Evans to shine in our latest MNF odds analysis.

Mike Evans MNF prop pick

Over 4.5 receptions (+135)

Mike Evans has been amongst the best wide receivers in the NFL since he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in 2014. After nearly a decade with the team, the common take heading into this season was that his career was beginning to wind down and that the dropoff from Tom Brady to Baker Mayfield at quarterback would lead to a massive dropoff in production.

We are only three weeks into the new NFL season but it’s already clear that that take wasn’t just wrong, but it was wildly inaccurate. So far, Evans has caught 12 passes for 237 yards with a touchdown in his first two games. The 30-year-old is showing exactly why he was drafted so highly from Texas A&M all those years ago.

Mayfield's potential resurgence in Tampa Bay is not primarily due to offensive coordinator Dave Canales but rather the presence of Evans. The best bet for Mike Evans on MNF is backing the 6-foot-5 wideout to continue his hot streak and rack up Over 4.5 receptions.

We’ve already seen Evans haul in six catches in both of his first two games, and that included being targeted 10 times in Week 1. He's clearly Mayfield’s favorite target early on, so the volume will still be there regardless of the talent in the Philadelphia Eagles secondary.

Prop: Over 4.5 receptions (+135)

Mike Evans MNF same-game parlay

Mike Evans Over 4.5 receptions

Chris Godwin Over 53.5 receiving yards

Rachaad White to record 2+ receptions

As always, our first leg in our spotlight SPG is the best bet for the article, which in this case is Mike Evans to get Over 4.5 receptions. It’s a number that he’s exceeded in both games as the star wideout has already seen a total of 18 targets.

Next up, we’ll be betting on his teammate Chris Godwin to record Over 53.5 receiving yards. While Godwin doesn't look like the same threat from years past, he's still racked up 10 receptions on 14 targets for 109 yards entering Week 3. The injury to Philly corner Avonte Maddox also means that Godwin should get plenty of opportunities to attack the weaker members of the Eagles’ secondary.

For the final leg of the SGP, I’ve taken an alternate line on Rachaad White’s receptions. His current O/U sits at 3.5 but I’ve decided to cut that down to two or more catches. So far this season, White has caught all seven of his targets, as the lead running back has provided a nice safety blanket for Mayfield.

Considering the fact that the Eagles’ defensive line scares me a little (I’ve been very impressed by Jalen Carter's presence inside), it's worth playing it safe and taking the alternate line to wrap up this SGP.
