After nearly a month, Patrick Mahomes finally put together a truly Mahomes-esque performance last week with a 32-for-42 showing for 424 yards and four touchdowns.

In Week 8 odds, Mahomes and the Chiefs will face off against the Broncos for the second time in three weeks, and although they walked away with a win last time, it wasn't the prettiest offensive showing after only putting up 19 points.

Can Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs string together a performance more like last week's? Or will the altitude and thin air deflate the Chiefs' offense?

Patrick Mahomes Week 8 prop pick

Mahomes Over 268.5 passing yards (-114)

After a 19-8 win over the Denver Broncos two weeks ago, Patrick Mahomes moved to a 12-0 career record against them.

Mahomes now possesses a 19:9 TD:INT ratio for the Kansas City Chiefs, and the superstar quarterback has averaged 272 yards per game through the air in games against Denver. That last part is where we'll (again) attack the prop board, as Mahomes has now thrown for 300+ passing yards in the last three contests against the Chiefs' AFC West rivals.

And the Broncos haven't been exactly the most impressive pass defense thus far either. Their 257.4 passing yards allowed per game ranks third worst among the league, allowing quarterbacks like Sam Howell (299 yards, 2 TDs) and Justin Fields (355 yards, 4 touchdowns) to even gash them.

This prop is even juicier considering that it closed at 270.5 at most books for their Week 6 matchup, and despite going over that total, you can find this prop at an even lower number for Week 8.

Patrick Mahomes Week 8 same-game parlay

Patrick Mahomes Over 277.5 passing yards

Travis Kelce Over 6.5 receptions

Isiah Pacheco Over 15.5 receiving yards

Travis Kelce has seemingly shaken off the ankle injury he sustained to start the season, posting reception totals of 12, 9, and 10 in the last three weeks and putting up 179 and 124 receiving yards in the last two.

Given that you can find Kelce's reception prop at around 6.5, it makes a lot of sense to toss that in a same-game parlay that expects Mahomes to be excellent through the air in the same game.

Another pass catcher who should shine on Sunday is Isiah Pacheco, who, outside of a dud against the Vikings in Week 5, has been an understated part of the Chiefs' passing offense. He posted four receptions for 28 yards in Week 7, six for 36 in Week 6, and three for 43 in Week 4.

The Broncos defense also hasn't been exactly great at containing running backs in the passing game, as their 68 receiving yards per game allowed to the position ranks dead last in the NFL.
