Patrick Mahomes is once again an MVP season for the Kansas City Chiefs, as the superstar quarterback leads the league in both passing yards (4,496) and passing touchdowns (11).
However, the Chiefs have also found success on the ground, and that's enabling them to pick secondaries apart off play action. Kansas City ranks fifth in yards per rush and fifth in play-action yards per attempt this season.
The combo of rookie Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon has been an answer for Clyde Edwards-Helaire's letdown, as the two running backs most recently combined for 138 rushing yards on 25 carries in Week 15.
This time around, they'll get the chance to put up big numbers against a Seattle Seahawks run defense that ranks second-last in yards allowed on the ground per contest (161.1). To make matters worse for Seattle, it'll be without starting nose tackle Al Woods in this one.
Weather is expected to be around -10 at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, which means Mahomes should be handing the ball off more often than usual. Take Pacheco and McKinnon to carve the Seahawks up on the ground and for Mahomes to go Under his passing yards total.

The Chiefs are catching the Seahawks at a perfect time. Not only are the Hawks in the midst of their worst stretch of the season, but Seattle is banged up at numerous key spots.
Wide receiver Tyler Lockett suffered a broken finger last week against the 49ers and won't be available on Saturday. Lockett has been Geno Smith's favorite receiver this season, accounting for 38% of the quarterback's passing yards through 14 games.
Meanwhile, rookie running back Kenneth Walker III was a DNP at practice earlier this week, and backup DeeJay Dallas has been limited as well.
Smith has a passer rating of just 88.6 over his last two games. With Geno's favorite weapon now out and facing a Chiefs defense that suffocates the rush, Seattle could be in for a long day on both sides of the ball.
Expect this game to be over by halftime and for KC to successfully cover the double-digit spread.
