Tee Higgins came into the NFL the same time as his quarterback Joe Burrow, and the two have fit like a glove since — highlighted by a trip to the Super Bowl in 2021. Higgins has recorded 24 touchdowns, 257 receptions, and over 3,600 receiving yards during his first four years in the league, but now it's decision time.
Higgins is entering free agency and may look for somewhere new to call home. The one big question that looms however is if the Cincinnati Bengals will use the franchise tag to keep Higgins for at least one more year. That possibility is a big reason why Cincy is favored to maintain Higgins' services, but let's look at the NFL odds to see what jersey Tee will be wearing when he takes his first snap in the 2024 season.

Tee Higgins' situation at a glance
Tee Higgins has proved to be a great WR2 for the Cincinnati Bengals since he joined the league, putting up stellar numbers and proving to be a useful weapon next to Ja'Marr Chase.
Higgins will be sought after during free agency by several teams, as his upside is too much to pass up. The 6-foot-4 WR could either serve as the WR1 on a bad team like the Tennessee Titans, or he could slot right in on another championship contender like the Chiefs. The possibilities are endless, but this may not come down to Tee's decision.
The Bengals can franchise tag the 25-year-old, and with Joe Burrow looking to return to 100% this year, will they want to risk losing him in free agency? Let's take a look.

Tee Higgins' next team favorite
Cincinnati Bengals (-175)
This should come as no surprise. The Bengals are in their championship window and aren't going to want to risk losing one of Burrow's favorite targets heading into next year. Ja'Marr Chase will always be the WR1 on any team he's on not named the Vikings, and Higgins slots in as the perfect second option.
Tyler Boyd would still be around if Higgins does end up leaving, but that would leave Cincy with a thin receiving corps. The Bengals want to compete with the likes of K.C., Buffalo, and Baltimore now, so they'll do what they must to keep things under control.
Tennessee Titans (+550)
The Tennessee Titans are favored to pick up Higgins if the Bengals decide not to franchise tag him, and recent comments suggest there may be mutual feelings.

The firing of Mike Vrabel paired with the draft choice of Will Levis signals the Titans are on their way to building a new identity, and adding the young Higgins would give Levis someone else to throw to other than DeAndre Hopkins. Higgins is also from Tennessee, and the opportunity to play under his former OC, Brian Callahan, makes the Titans a perfect landing spot.
Carolina Panthers (+850)
The Carolina Panthers may not be loading up for a Super Bowl run, but Tee Higgins would automatically slot in as the WR1 on a team that had 33-year-old Adam Thielen as their most consistent offensive option last year. Unless Higgins is looking strictly to be the No. 1 guy, this option doesn't offer up much else. Bryce Young is not nearly on the same level as Burrow, and the Panthers are coming off a 2-15 season.

Tee Higgins next team odds pick
Cincinnati Bengals (-175)
This may not be the most exciting pick, but it seems like the smartest one. The only world I see the Bengals not franchise-tagging Higgins is a world where he and Cincy agree on a new contract. The Bengals are in win-now mode and aren't just going to let one of their best offensive weapons walk out the door.
Aside from them, I could also see value in Kansas City at +1,400. The Chiefs will most likely be in search of another wide receiver as Kelce is on his way out sooner than later, but there are plenty of other weapons they can get if Higgins and K.C. can't come to an agreement. Like I said, I think he's sticking around in Cincinnati for one more year — whether he likes it or not.
