Key odds movement

Buffalo Bills (+700)

Josh Allen's new contract doesn't represent a sea change as he's been the Buffalo Bills quarterback for seven seasons already and has had the team within sniffing distance of the Super Bowl on multiple occasions. However, his six-year, $330-million contract (a record $250 million guaranteed) underscores that he is the guy in Orchard Park.

Los Angeles Rams (+2500)

It's been a chaotic couple of weeks, but things seem to be stabilizing for the Los Angeles Rams. While Cooper Kupp's exit is ongoing and uncertain, Matthew Stafford re-upped after reports that he was on his way out of the organization. Then, on Sunday, the Rams signed WR Davante Adams to a two-year contract that could be worth up to $46 million. Adams will ostensibly serve as Kupp's replacement on the depth chart while potentially prolonging the team's competitive window.

Adams was released by the New York Jets on Tuesday.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+6000) & Seattle Seahawks (+6500)

The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired wide receiver DK Metcalf just days after he requested a trade from the Seattle Seahawks. The Steelers will also reportedly sign the two-time Pro Bowl wideout to a five-year, $150 million contract.

The Steelers and Seahawks remain somewhat close on the odds board, but they could soon be going in opposite directions. The Metcalf acquisition likely isn't happening in a vacuum and the Seahawks are indicating a pivot toward a rebuild after also trading quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Cleveland Browns (+18000)

The Cleveland Browns apparently convinced DE Myles Garrett that things weren't so bad after all as they signed him to a four-year extension that includes $123.5 million in guaranteed money. This has not, however, garnered any extra bullishness from sportsbooks as they still sport +18000 odds to win the 2026 Super Bowl, with only the Tennessee Titans having longer odds.

The Aaron Rodgers saga continues

Erstwhile New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn't heading for retirement just yet, instead looking like he may be on the verge of completing the Brett Favre career trajectory arc (Packers-Jets-Vikings). The Minnesota Vikings appear to be moving on from Sam Darnold after one season — which would mark the second time Rodgers ran him out of town, so to speak, if he does sign there — and will be looking for someone new to hurl the ball to Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, & Co.

Rodgers could opt to go elsewhere, too.
