The Las Vegas Raiders ended the 2024 season with a disappointing 4-13 record, finished fourth in the AFC West and 14th overall in the AFC.

They scored 309 total points (18.2 points per game, ranking 29th out of 32 teams) and allowed 434 points (25.5 points per game, 25th out of 32).

However, none of that matters for one bettor.

With the 2025 NFL season more than six months away, $1,000 has been placed in Nevada on the Raiders (+12500) to win Super Bowl 60, which will be played at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026.

Potential ROI (Return On Investment): $125,000.

Why?

After a 2-2 start in September, Las Vegas lost 11 of their last 13 games to end the season.

After 26 games (9-17) at the helm, the team let go of head coach Antonio Pierce and have turned to the 73-year-old former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll to re-energize the organization and the roster over the next three-to-four years.

During his 14-year tenure at Seattle, he directed the Seahawks to two NFC Championships and a 43-8 Super Bowl XLVIII win over the Denver Broncos at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey in 2014.

He will be the league’s oldest head coach next season, surpassing 66-year-old Andy Reid of AFC West rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Carroll's top priority is to get a new starting quarterback, either through free agency or the NFL Draft, which takes place April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Currently the Raiders have eight picks in the draft, including No. 6 in the first round and a conditional third-round pick after the Raiders traded Davante Adams to the New York Jets last season.

The hope is that Carroll's experience can create a new foundation of winning within the Raiders organization, and they just might surprise some people in making the playoffs.

However, in his first year with three NFL teams, Carroll has records of 6-10 with the Jets (1994), 10-6 with the Patriots in 1997, and 7-9 with Seattle in 2010.

Raiders Postseason

The Raiders have been to the playoffs five times since 2000, and their last two postseason appearances have resulted in wild-card losses in 2016 and 2021.

Their last Super Bowl appearance was in 2003, losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 48-21. They haven't won a Super Bowl since 1983, a 38-9 triumph over the Washington Redskins.

Caesars Sportsbook Future Raiders Wagering

A look at Caesars Sportsbook future numbers on Tuesday, Feb. 18 (11:30 a.m. ET) has the Raiders still at +12500 to win the Super Bowl and at +5500 to win the AFC Championship, tied with the New York Jets, New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Carroll is tied with new New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore and San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan at +1600 for Coach of the Year honors.

The AFC West Division is at +420 (third best in the league) to be the Super Bowl's winning division.
