Trevor Lawrence Week 4 prop pick

Over 33.5 passing attempts (-120)

After a disappointing rookie year, we saw Trevor Lawrence really blossom in his sophomore season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now he’s back in London and ready to take on the Atlanta Falcons in a game that already feels like a must-win.

Lawrence hasn’t elevated himself to the top table of NFL quarterbacks as expected this season. The former number-one overall pick currently sits 10th in the league in terms of passing yards, and even more worrisome is the fact that he ranks just 26th in QBR.

That said, this a game in which he needs to get it right and get the team back to winning ways after a shocking loss to Houston in Week 3.

I was tempted to hit the Over on T-Law's passing yards, but the Falcons have done fairly well against the aerial attack this season. Only three teams are holding opponents to fewer passing yards heading into Sunday, so instead, we’re backing Lawrence to have Over 33.5 passing attempts.

This means that we don't need to concern ourselves with the quality of the Falcons' secondary. So far through three starts, Lawrence has thrown a total of 113 passes, with the last two games featuring Lawrence throwing 40 and 41 times, respectively.

Even the one exception — where he attempted 32 passes against the Colts — doesn't deviate significantly from the line set at 33.5. I have confidence that we will witness Lawrence putting this team on his back with his arm.

Prop: Over 33.5 passing attempts (-120)

Trevor Lawrence Week 4 same-game parlay

Trevor Lawrence Over 33.5 passing attempts

Travis Etienne Jr. Over 3.5 receptions

Travis Etienne Jr. to score a touchdown

We have a juicy +600 SGP for Sunday's early game, focusing on Lawrence and one of his most interesting receiving options.

The best bet for this game is our first leg, with Trevor Lawrence having Over 33.5 passing attempts. It’s a number that Lawrence hasn’t just beaten in two games, but one that he's utterly smashed.

I’m also backing Travis Etienne Jr. to record Over 3.5 receptions. It’s a number that he’s beaten in two of three games this season. The Jaguars running back has been a player that Lawrence has liked throwing to, both in college and the pros.

The final leg of the SGP also features Etienne, and we’re backing him to score his second touchdown of the season. He hasn’t scored since Week 1, but given the fact that he’s both dangerous as a receiver and also averaging 4.2 yards per carry as a rusher, he should see plenty of opportunities to find paydirt.

Tank Bigsby has been used as the team’s goal-line back but saw less work last week after that fumble in the opener, so I’m expecting Etienne to continue to be the main man in the backfield.
