Aaron Rodgers’ time with the New York Jets appears to be coming to a close. What was supposed to be a franchise-altering move quickly turned into a nightmare after the veteran quarterback tore his Achilles just four snaps into his debut two seasons ago.
While Rodgers entered this past season healthy, expectations were never met and even with a mid-season coaching change, the veteran QB struggled to produce as the franchise had hoped.
With the two sides parting ways, the Aaron Rodgers next team odds are back on the board with some of the usual suitors among the favorites.
Join me as I break down the NFL odds for which team takes a chance on the 41-year-old or if he plans to call it quits on his career before then.

Where will Aaron Rodgers play next season?
Pittsburgh Steelers
According to Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be willing to part ways with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields in order to acquire a veteran quarterback for the upcoming season.
While I may not be the GM of a billion-dollar franchise, I know that moving from a 36-year-old QB to one who is 41, two years removed from a ruptured Achilles, is a bad move.
For the sake of argument, let's say the Steelers did pull this off. Rodgers would have a far less talented roster to work with, and a much tougher division to go through with Cincinnati and Baltimore as true Super Bowl contenders.
At +200, I don't want any piece of this.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have long been in on Aaron Rodgers and have yet to secure his signature.
With a team that lacks any real skill on offense outside of Brock Bowers, I don't believe Rodgers will want to spend his last year or two padding his stats while his team trails by three scores.
Throw in the fact the Raiders just hired Pete Carroll as their new HC, he'll likely want to develop a young QB, as opposed to butting heads with a stubborn mule.
Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans are on the clock with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, but that doesn't mean they can't make a splash and sign Rodgers.
Even if they go QB at No. 1 and take Cam Ward, Rodgers could be a solid mentor to the rookie and could have him ready to play in two years when he ultimately calls it a career.
I don't mind this line of thinking, and I believe there's value here at +750.
Will Aaron Rodgers retire before next season?
Odds courtesy of FanDuel
The odds of Aaron Rodgers retiring before next season are starting to shorten, as they opened up at -250 for 'No'.
While the aging quarterback is without a team, many suitors are looking for a quarterback to fill the void between now and their next franchise QB. Given the right situation, Rodgers could perhaps provide a spark.
From a personal perspective, Rodgers does not strike me as the type that would just go quietly into the night. Retiring now would mean the Jets' won and I don't believe for a second Rodgers would be okay with that.
Despite the odds going in the wrong direction, I believe the value is on No at -164.
