There’s a lot to unpack this Friday in the NHL Playoffs, with games on both the Eastern and Western Conference fronts, and plenty of NHL player props to choose from.

It’s been blowout city in each of the first two games between the Panthers and Bruins, with a critical Game 3 to come in Beantown. In Vancouver, the Oilers try to shake off a wild collapse in Game 1 of their series with the Canucks.

See below for my free NHL picks, a three-leg parlay featuring the guys just under the marquee, and keep reading for our SGPs focusing on each game!

Best NHL parlay picks for Friday

NHL parlay pick

Zach Hyman anytime goal

Conor Garland 2+ shots on goal

Aleksander Barkov anytime goal

It might be a stretch to call a guy who just posted a career-best 54 goals in the regular season a non-primetime guy, but such is the life for Zach Hyman, who knows the Edmonton Oilers are the Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl show. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t been absolutely dynamite in these playoffs.

Hyman potted two goals against the Vancouver Canucks in Game 1, and he would have been the headline if not for Vancouver scoring three unanswered goals in the third to top the Oilers, 5-4. He leads all players in goals this postseason with nine, and he’s failed to light the lamp just once in the Oilers’ first six games of the postseason.

He’s done major damage on the powerplay, tallying four times with the man advantage, as Edmonton boasts the best PP in the postseason with an incredible 47.6% success rate. With McDavid table-setting for him (McDavid leads all scorers in the postseason with 13 points, 12 of them assists), Hyman should have ample opportunities to get to 10-goal plateau on Friday night.

The Canucks' Conor Garland picked the perfect time to record his first goal of the postseason, scoring the go-head marker in the third period, which eventually stood up as the winner in a 5-4 triumph over the Oilers. Garland isn’t Vancouver’s premier offensive threat, but he’s consistently working to generate offense in support of the Boeser-Miller-Pettersson-Hughes group.

He has recorded exactly two shots on goal in each of his last four playoff games, a number he’s hit five times in the postseason, and the number he’ll have to hit on Friday. It’s a carryover from the regular season, where Garland had at least two shots on goal in 17 of Vancouver’s final 19 games.

Vancouver relied heavily on its role players to escape with a win over the Oil in the opener, as J.T. Miller was the lone Canucks’ big gun to hit the scoresheet in Game 1, and Elias Pettersson is still seeking his first goal of the playoffs. If the stars aren’t able to get it going, Garland's contributions might again be necessary in Game 2.

The Boston Bruins are probably wondering why Aleksander Barkov has lit them on fire all season. The veteran center scored twice and finished with four points as the Florida Panthers evened their series with Boston at a game each, smacking the Bruins 6-1.

Barkov has five points through the first two games of the series, and he’s had at least a point in all six games he’s played overall against the Bruins this season. That includes five goals and 12 points. Overall, Barkov has hit the scoresheet in 17 of his last 23 games against Boston.

Getting pucks to the net seems to be the basic formula: Barkov has posted at least three shots on goal in 11 of those games, including four in Game 2.

He has goals in both appearances at TD Garden this year. It’s worth rolling his anytime goal-scoring prop into a parlay, in the hopes he makes it 3-for-3.

Our betting experts have scoured through today's NHL odds to find your best SGP bets for each game on Friday's playoff slate:

Panthers vs Bruins same-game parlay (SGP)

Bruins moneyline

Charlie Coyle anytime goal

If we’re backing Boston to win this game, then we obviously need some of its skaters to find the back of the net. Enter Charlie Coyle.

Coyle was the lone Bruins skater to find the back of the net in Game 2, and he has now scored in eight of his past 20 games against Florida. It also helps that he skates alongside Brad Marchand and Jake DeBrusk on the second line, two guys who are more than capable of setting Coyle up with a good look at the net.
