There are neck-and-neck playoff races in the Eastern and Western Conferences, and a six-game docket graces the ice tonight.

I’m eyeing a pair of mismatches with my top NHL player props for the latest action, with Vegas Golden Knights star Jack Eichel headlining the trio of NHL picks.

Best NHL player prop bets for March 28

Jack Eichel 2+ points + 4+ shots (+375 at bet365)

Vegas Golden Knights star Jack Eichel picked up a hat trick Wednesday against the Minnesota Wild to reach the 90-point benchmark for the first time in his career, and I’m anticipating another huge night against the lowly Chicago Blackhawks.

Eichel has recorded a multi-point game in six of his past 12 while piling up seven goals, 13 assists, 38 shots, and 56 attempts. He paces Vegas in all four categories per 60 minutes, too.

Of course, Chicago has also allowed three or more goals in 11 straight games for an average of 4.09 per. The Blackhawks have also surrendered the third-most shots per game (31.2) and hold a league-low 44.0 Corsi For percentage at five-on-five.

Seth Jarvis + Jackson Blake Over 0.5 points each (+200 at bet365)

This is a back-to-back road spot for the Montreal Canadiens, and they’re also playing their third game in four nights on the highway. The Habs have allowed 12 goals through the first two stops, so this projects as an excellent matchup for the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes boast No. 1 center Sebastian Aho skating between Jackson Blake and Seth Jarvis, and the new-look line has been a five-on-five force with a 62.7 Corsi For percentage and 68.8 expected goals percentage.

All three are also skating on the No. 1 power-play unit, and the Canadiens have averaged the most shorthanded time per game (5:11). Montreal has also taken the eighth-most minor penalties at 5-on-5, so expect Jarvis and Blake to see ample power-play looks tonight.

Teuvo Teravainen Under 0.5 points (-120 at DraftKings)

Blackhawks winger Teuvo Teravainen has picked up three assists — two with the man advantage — across his past two games, so we’re landing a nice number on his Under against the Golden Knights tonight.

Vegas is rolling along a four-game winning streak with just 1.13 goals and 2.17 expected goals against per 60 minutes at five-on-five, and Teravainen has only been on the ice for 2.44 goals and 2.13 expected goals per 60 at 5-on-5 for the year.

His 1.78 points per 60 at 5-on-5 also rank 108th in the NHL among skaters with at least 800 minutes.
