We have a jam-packed day of action ahead of us, with 28 of the league’s 32 teams set to take the ice.

A ton of juicy spots pop off the page on a loaded board. Let’s take a closer look at a few that stand out with my NHL props for March 22.

NHL player prop bets today

Best NHL player prop bets for March 22

Rasmus Dahlin Over 2.5 shots (+110 at bet365)

Rasmus Dahlin has piled up the shots of late. He has averaged 3.5 shots on 7.4 attempts per game over the last 10 games. Dahlin attempted at least seven shots in seven of the 10 games, with two of the exceptions coming against last year’s Stanley Cup finalists Florida and Edmonton.

He has routinely hit seven attempts otherwise, which is a nice number. Dahlin has cleared 2.5 shots in 85% of his games this season when generating seven attempts or more.

That is a Buffalo Sabres line he should be able to hit against the Minnesota Wild, who rank Bottom-3 in shot suppression vs. defensemen on the year and when isolating the past 10 games.

Dahlin hit his line and recorded 10 attempts when the two sides met back in November. I expect a similar shooting performance this time around.

Jordan Kyrou Over 2.5 shots (-145 at DraftKings)

Death, taxes, and St. Louis Blues center Jordan Kyrou shots against the Chicago Blackhawks. He has consistently teed off on his Central Division rivals, generating at least 10 shot attempts in four straight head-to-head meetings – including both this season.

Kyrou totaled 22 shots on goal in that span while generating at least four each time out. There’s every reason to expect another big volume day on Saturday. Kyrou has feasted on home soil this season, recording at least three shots in 65% of his games.

The matchup is also elite as the Blackhawks rank 32nd in shot share over the last 10 games and have given up the 3rd most shots to wingers in that time.

Will Smith Over 0.5 points (-125 at DraftKings)

Will Smith is scorching hot. He has produced 18 points over the last 20 games and hit the scoresheet in 14 of them, which is a rock-solid 70% clip. He has been attached to the hip of Macklin Celebrini at 5v5 and on the power play, which is a great place to be.

The Boston Bruins have dropped four consecutive games and conceded 20 goals along the way. They have not defended well, which makes sense considering their blueline was completely gutted by injuries (Charlie McAvoy, Hampus Lindholm) as well as trades (Brandon Carlo).

The Bruins have allowed 3.21 goals per game, a number that has soared to 3.73 on the road. This is a matchup where Smith and the young San Jose Sharks should be able to do some damage offensively.
