Can you believe we’re just one week away from the Stanley Cup Playoffs?
There’s still tons of hockey to be played, though, and we’ve got an action-packed 11-game schedule on today’s docket.
Robert Thomas has been on a tear for the St. Louis Blues, and he’ll highlight my NHL prop picks for Saturday, April 12, as I look for Thomas to rack up another multi-point game.
NHL player prop bets today

Anton Lundell 3+ shots (+148 at FanDuel)

Best NHL player prop bets for April 12
Robert Thomas Over 1.5 points (+166 at Pinnacle)
The St. Louis Blues have been the best team in hockey since the NHL returned from the 4 Nations Face-Off, going 18-4-2 over that span, and that’s thanks in large part to Robert Thomas.
When you think of superstar scorers, you don’t necessarily think of Thomas, but that’s exactly what he’s been for the Blues during their hot streak.
The Blues center has led all players with 29 assists and 37 points since February 22, and he could be primed for a big night against the sputtering Seattle Kraken.
Thomas is fresh off a two-assist outing against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday and has picked up multiple points in three of his last four games and seven of his last nine outings.
Seattle’s expected starter, Joey Daccord, has been pretty bad down the stretch, posting an .887 SV% and a 3.24 GAA since February 25.
Coincidentally, that’s the same day the Blues scored five goals on Daccord on just 21 shots en route to a 7-2 win as Thomas racked up a goal and an assist.
Anton Lundell 3+ shots (+148 at FanDuel)
The Florida Panthers fell into a bit of a lull with five straight losses but look to be back on track as they seek their third straight win heading into Saturday’s meeting with the Buffalo Sabres.
The Cats have dealt with some injuries to key players such as Matthew Tkachuk and Aleksander Barkov, which has opened up the door for secondary scorers to step up. One of those players is Anton Lundell, who’s seen a significant uptick in his shot generation down the stretch.
Lundell averaged just 1.85 shots per game from October through March – good for 12th among all Panthers skaters – but the center has seen quite a bump in both ice time and shot production in April.
His ice time is up over 18 minutes per game this month compared to just 15:42 in March, while he’s averaged exactly four shots per contest while registering 3+ shots in five of his last six outings.
Kyle Connor Over 0.5 goals (+131 at Pinnacle)
Kyle Connor scored twice in his last outing against the Dallas Stars to hit the 40-goal mark and snap a four-game scoring drought. I foresee the Winnipeg Jets potting another tonight vs. the tanking Chicago Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks rank second-last in goals against per game (3.88) and third-last in shots against per game (31) since returning from the 4 Nations Face-Off. The wheels have really fallen off over the last couple of weeks, as Chicago has surrendered five goals in five of its last eight outings.
Connor has been a consistent scoring threat for the Jets, averaging 3.31 shots per game over his last 13 contests and leading the club with 257 shots this season—83 more than his next closest teammate.
Winnipeg has scored at least three goals in eight of its last ten games, but I could see the Jets really running up the score against a Blackhawks team that’s begging for the season to end. No Jets skater is more likely to put one in than Connor.
