Losers of three of their last four, the Ottawa Senators will work to get back into the win column tonight when they host the Seattle Kraken.

My Senators vs. Kraken predictions have the home side jumping on the Kraken, who are in the middle game of a 5-game road trip and enter the contest having dropped four of its last five.

Read on for my free NHL picks for Saturday, November 2.

My Senators analysis

Scoring hasn't been the problem for the Ottawa Senators over the last four games, with 17 goals plenty enough to pick up more than one win.

Unfortunately, outside of an 8-1 thrashing of the St Louis Blues, they surrendered 13 goals in losses to the Golden Knights, Avalanche, and most recently a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Rangers.

Ottawa, who ranks as a Top 5 team in the NHL in goals per game while operating the fifth-best power play in the league (hitting at a 36.4% clip), will entertain a Seattle Kraken side that's been bleeding goals.

Aside from an outlier 8-2 thumping of the Montreal Canadiens, they've been outscored 15-7 in four other losses.

Last time out, they were shut down by the Maple Leafs 4-1. Again, not including that blow-up vs the Canadiens, Seattle has posted two or fewer goals in three of its last five games.

In their short six-game head-to-head history, both teams have won three, with the Senators taking two of the last three contests.

Ottawa will be playing the second night of a back-to-back for the first time this season, but they've been a resilient bunch of late. Going back to last season, it's won four straight playing on the second straight night and nine straight at Canadian Tire Centre.

Senators vs Kraken Over/Under analysis

The Kraken haven't been a great underdog wager in the young season. They have dropped four straight as a 'dog and are 2-5-0 on the season.

Ottawa has been a moneyline favorite just four times in its last 10 games but has a sparkling 3-1-0 mark.

After combining for at least seven goals in three of the first four matchups, the Kraken and Senators scored five or fewer in the last two.

Seattle has cashed the Under in four of its last six, while the high-scoring Senators have crossed the Over total in three of their last four.
