The final game on Saturday’s Premier League slate sees Burnley welcoming Man Utd to Turf Moor. It’s a game that both Erik ten Hag and Vincent Kompany need to win after poor starts to the season.

Hopes in both Burnley and Manchester were high before the season, but both teams have struggled so far and are in desperate need of three points to get their disappointing campaigns back on track.
For Burnley, backed by investment from the likes of JJ Watt, there was real hope their free-scoring team would maintain their form from the Championship and look comfortable in the Premier League... but so far that hasn’t happened. It’s even worse on the red side of Manchester where Erik ten Hag’s team is really struggling, as the manager comes under pressure for both the bad results and his handling of expensive signings such as Jadon Sancho, who has been banished from the first team.
I’d forgive anyone for not trusting either of these teams when it comes to their money, but I think I’ve found a +215 wager that could be worth taking.
If we dig into the stats we can see that both teams have scored in three of Burnley’s four games this season, with a 3-0 defeat against champions Man City being the only match in which they didn’t score. Likewise, United have seen both teams scoring in 60% of Premier League games this year. They also come into this on the back of a 4-3 Champions League loss to Bayern Munich.
The stats back this up, but it’s clear to see that there’s a high chance of both teams scoring just by watching these teams play. Burnley haven’t changed their style at all since joining the Premier League, and against far better opposition than they met in the Championship, their attacking style of play is leaving them wide open at the back and giving up goals.
Meanwhile, Man United look like they’ve forgotten how to defend, and when combining defensive mistakes with some terrible goalkeeping errors, they’re shipping a lot of goals.
I see Burnley scoring here in front of a sold-out Turf Moor, but United should have just about enough quality to win it. We saw in their defeat in Munich that they had some team spirit and did manage to score three against a good Bayern defensive unit

I'm backing Man Utd to win. They’ve been poor this season but are starting to get some players back from injury, such as Raphael Varane, and there is still quality within their ranks. Any attack including Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford can create and score goals and I believe they’ll be able to bag a couple against a leaky Burnley defense.
Secondly, I'm backing both teams to score for the reasons listed in my best bet section.
My final leg is for United's new Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund to bag his first Premier League goal for the club. So far he’s had two starts and one cameo from the bench. He has yet to score in the Premier League but did score a tap-in against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
He’s not excelled yet for Man U, but his movement around the box has looked good and he looks like a player who is finding himself in the right positions to score. No team has given up more goals than Burnley, despite the fact they’ve played one less game than everybody except Luton, so I suspect we’ll see Hojlund get more chances to open his EPL account.

Burnley vs Manchester United side and Over/Under analysis
I wanted Man Utd to win as my best but odds of -133 aren’t quite big enough for me to commit to that, despite my confidence that they’ll get three points.
As bad as United have been defensively, this is a team with real pace and guile in attack and who should be able to take advantage of some of Burnley’s bad defending. You can get Burnley at +315 or the draw at +295, but I don’t like either of those prices.
I think we’re very likely to see goals, but Over 2.5 coming in at -167 put me off recommending that as a best bet. It’s hard to see this one staying Under 2.5, so I’d avoid taking that +135.
