When these groups were drawn, this game in particular stood out with a potential homecoming for Harry Kane back to England, but it’s not clear yet if the England captain will even play, let alone start.
With their status as winners of Group A secured and amid a big Bundesliga battle, there’s a very strong chance that Thomas Tuchel will rest some of his biggest stars and that includes Kane.
However, after a 5-1 thumping from Frankfurt on Saturday, will he want his starters to have a chance to get back to winning ways? It’s an intriguing question and one which makes predicting this game tricky.

Despite this being a poor season for Manchester United, my best bet for Tuesday’s game is for ten Hag’s men to score in each half. You might wonder why given some of the dysfunction at the club but in truth, they’re still finding a way to score in Europe.
They’ve scored in both halves of three of their five UCL games so far, netting 12 total goals, which is the most in Group A, even more than the 11 scored by Bayern Munich. Their issue has been conceding goals, and they’ve let in some howlers. This attack can cause the opposition problems.
With United facing what could potentially be a second-string Bayern Munich team, I think it’s only going to encourage them to push for goals and to try and pull off what would be a shock by qualifying for the next round.
The one thing we know is that United need goals, so I’m expecting them to look to score early, coming out of the blocks quickly supported by the Old Trafford crowd.
