Igor Jesus is one of three Fogo players heavily linked to a move to Nottingham Forest. But for now, he leads their attack and is the kind of player whose athleticism and scoring prowess will create issues for Seattle’s back line. Fogo also has two attack-minded fullbacks who like to get up the wings on the counter-attack, which the side looks to do as they typically stay compact in defense.
The Sounders come into the match having lost two straight, including a sound 3-0 defeat last weekend against rivals Vancouver. They had two players sent off in a three-minute stretch, and they failed to register a single shot on target from seven attempts against a team that conceded five goals to Cruz Azul just a week before.
