This Sunday sees the flagship event in soccer with the World Cup final. This year we’ll see a huge clash between Argentina and France with both looking to add their names to that famous trophy once again.

For Argentina, it’s a chance for Lionel Messi to win the one trophy that’s eluded him throughout his career. For France, it’s a rare chance to win back-to-back World Cups, and for Kylian Mbappe to win his second at the age of 23.

With the big game nearly upon us, we’ve compiled a three-leg same-game parlay, fit for a final, that gives us big +5,000 World Cup odds. Check it out below and for more, be sure to check out our World Cup picks page for our Argentina vs. France picks and predictions, as well as our Argentina vs. France prop picks.

Nahuel Molina to be booked (+220)

The Atletico Madrid right back has had a solid World Cup so far. He’s started five of Argentina’s six games and is yet to be booked. He should start on the right side of the defense, despite Gonzalo Montiel being available after suspension.

Molina has been good going forward, scoring and getting an assist, but his task in the World Cup final involves him marking Mbappe. Both England and Morocco did a good job marking the Frenchman but with his electric pace and directness, he is a real threat for Argentina.

We’ve seen in previous games that Argentina aren’t afraid of getting stuck into opponents, especially the most dangerous ones, and it really wouldn’t be a shock to see Molina pick up his first booking of the tournament while trying to deal with PSG’s star forward.

If Mbappe, or even Theo Hernandez, get goal side of him then expect them to be taken down. With Messi operating a lot from the right side of the field it means Molina is likely to be left one-on-one with Mbappe, especially if the midfielders have been pulled elsewhere.

Leandro Paredes to be booked (+220)

Leandro Paredes is a good player but at times he can be a liability because of his commitment to hard, often rash tackles, which sees him giving away a lot of fouls.

He’s started two of his four games at this World Cup, including the semifinal win over Croatia, but there’s no guarantee we see him start this game.

Normally I wouldn’t suggest backing somebody who may start on the bench but if Paredes doesn’t start, then there’s still a good chance he gets his name written in the referee’s book.

Either Argentina are level or even losing to France, and then they’ll need to win the ball back quickly to score, something which increases Paredes’ chances of getting booked, or they’ll be holding a lead.

If Argentina are holding a lead, then they’ll stop at nothing to stall French attacks and we could see more rash tackling from Paredes, something we saw when he came on as a substitute when Argentina held a lead over the Netherlands.

Whatever happens, in a big game, with big pressure and an even bigger prize, there’s a good chance that Paredes can’t keep his cool.

Antoine Griezmann to record an assist (+400)

Antoine Griezmann has three assists so far during this World Cup and there’s a real chance that he gets a fourth in this game.

The Atletico Madrid player has been the France’s best player at this tournament, and even more impressive is that he’s done it in a new role, dropping slightly deeper and orchestrating the play as well as being important defensively.

Nobody has more key passes per game than Griezmann with 3.5 and he also leads all players at the World Cup with 21 chances created. The way he links play has been sensational and his movement and passing will manipulate the Argentine defense and help the likes of Mbappe, Olivier Giroud, and Ousmane Dembele get into goalscoring positions.
