LOS ANGELES -- Kyle Farmer, in his first major league at-bat, rifled a pinch-hit double into the right field corner to score two runs in the bottom of the 11th inning and give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 3-2 walk-off win over the San Francisco Giants on Sunday night.

The Dodgers completed a three-game sweep and earned their eighth win in a row.

Farmer, a catcher who was called up this week, was the last position player left on the bench with two on and one out and the Giants leading 2-1.

Down 0-2, Farmer worked the count full against Albert Suarez (0-1) and then hit a line drive into the corner to score Corey Seager, who had doubled, and Justin Turner, who had been intentionally walked. Turner never stopped, and he slipped behind a tardy tag by Giants catcher Buster Posey.

San Francisco got an RBI single by Joe Panik in the top of the 11th to take a 2-1 lead.

The Giants' Madison Bumgarner and the Dodgers' Hyun-Jiu Ryu pitched matching gems. Both threw seven shutout innings, each allowing five hits and a walk while striking out seven.

In the 11th, San Francisco pinch hitter Kelby Tomlinson singled up the middle against reliever Brandon Morrow, stole second, and then scored on a single up the middle by Panik off Jose Avilan.

Pedro Baez (3-1) got the last two outs in the top of the 11th, and he earned the win.

Panik had three hits to break out of a 6-for-41 slump.

The Giants broke on top in the eighth. Pinch hitter Conor Gillaspie, behind 0-2 against reliever Josh Fields, hit his second homer of the season to start the inning and give the Giants a 1-0 lead.

The Dodgers forged a tie in the ninth. Pinch hitter Chase Utley beat out a grounder to third and stole second. Yasiel Puig, down 1-2 in the count, worked it back full and then bounced a Sam Dyson pitch up the middle to score Utley.

The Dodgers threatened to win it in the ninth, an intentional walk and infield single by Justin Turner loading the bases, but Dyson got Cody Bellinger to pop out.

Ryu was helped by four double plays, the biggest coming in the top of the seventh.

Panik bounced a single up the middle and Hunter Pence's bloop to center fell in to put two on with no outs. Panik advanced to third on a fly to right. Brandon Crawford followed with a fly to short center, and Hernandez tossed a bullet to catcher Austin Barnes to nail Panik by 6 feet.

NOTES: Dodgers 1B Adrian Gonzalez, sidelined since June with a herniated disk in his back, took batting practice Sunday and then went through a simulated game, with nine at-bats, ending with a home run. He was moved to the 60-day disabled list, but he could return to the team in mid-August. ... Dodger OF Andre Ethier, on the DL all season with a herniated disk, took batting practice Sunday and will continue to rehab in Arizona. ... Los Angeles LHP Clayton Kershaw (back) played catch for the third straight day. ... Giants C Nick Hundley was out of the lineup again and is listed day-to-day with headaches stemming from being hit in the mask on a foul tip Friday. ... San Francisco RHP Mark Melancon, who is in the DL with a stress injury, made his first rehab appearance Saturday, throwing an inning for Triple-A Sacramento. ... RHP Johnny Cueto, sidelined with blisters, is scheduled to make a rehab start for the Giants' Class A San Jose team Monday night.
