PHOENIX -- Paul Goldschmidt and A.J. Pollock homered, and the Arizona Diamondbacks jumped on Dodgers left-hander Rich Hill early and held for a 7-6 victory at Chase Field on Tuesday.
Pollock's two-run homer ignited a five-run first inning off Hill, who took a perfect game into the ninth inning and a no-hitter into the 10th inning of his previous start before losing 1-0 at Pittsburgh on Josh Harrison's leadoff home run.
Goldschmidt and David Peralta each had two hits and an RBI, and Pollock and Brandon Drury drove in two runs apiece for the Diamondbacks, who have won five straight and seven of eight.
Chris Taylor and Yasiel Puig homered and Yasmani Grandal had three hits for the Dodgers (91-39), who lost a third straight for the fourth time this season. They have not lost four in a row.
The Diamondbacks (74-58) remain two games ahead of the Colorado Rockies (72-60) in the race for the first National League wild card.
Goldschmidt's 32nd home run of the season gave Arizona a 7-4 lead in the fifth inning.
Adrian Gonzalez doubled in a run off Archie Bradley in the eighth inning to make it 7-5.
Chase Utley doubled and scored on Taylor's infield single with one out in the ninth inning to bring the Dodgers within 7-6.
Fernando Rodney hit Justin Turner with two outs to put the go-ahead runs on base before getting Grandal to ground out for his 33rd save.
Arizona right-hander Zack Godley (6-7) gave up four runs and six hits in six innings. He struck out five and walked one.
Pollock belted a two-run homer with one out in the first before Goldschmidt hit a line drive that struck Hill in the leg and caromed toward the first base line. Goldschmidt got an infield single and Hill remained in the game after several warmup tosses, still flexing his left leg.
J.D. Martinez doubled, and Drury followed with a two-run double for a 4-0 lead. Jake Lamb's single made it 5-0.
Puig homered in the second inning. Taylor hit a two-run homer in a three-run third inning that included Grandal's RBI single as the Dodgers cut the deficit to 5-4.
Peralta knocked out Hill with an RBI triple for a 6-4 lead in the fourth inning.
Hill gave up six runs and eight hits in 3 2/3 innings. He struck out four and walked one.
