Riding their longest winning streak since the All-Star break, the Texas Rangers send their ace to the mound to complete a rare four-game sweep.

Rangers starter Cliff Lee takes the hill in the final game of a four-game series against the Minnesota Twins. The Twins will send left-hander Francisco Liriano to the mound.

Lee had been solid with the Rangers until his last start against the Orioles on Saturday. Lee went just 5 2/3 innings in that one, allowing eight runs on 10 hits with one walk and four strikeouts. The four home runs allowed were a career high.

Lee is 8-3 with a 3.40 ERA in 18 career starts against the Twins. He'll be looking to build on an American League-best seven complete games.

The Rangers’ bullpen continued to shine Wednesday, as Matt Harrison earned his second career save by retiring the final two batters in the 4-3 victory. Vladimir Guerrero hit the go-ahead solo home run in the sixth inning, his first home run at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington since July 9 against Baltimore.

Josh Hamilton belted his 30th home run of the season with a two-run homer in the first inning while Andres Blanco had another multi-hit game, highlighted by his third double in the past two games.

Minnesota, meanwhile, is on a three-game losing streak for the first time since losing four straight from July 7-10. The Twins have scored four or fewer runs in their last five games, and are 0-3 on the current seven-game road trip.

Liriano is coming off a tough start. He went only five innings, allowing five runs on six hits with four walks and five strikeouts in a 7-6 losing effort to the White Sox.

Liriano is 1-1 with a 4.74 ERA in five games against the Ranges all-time, including three starts.

About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
