The Miami Marlins scored more runs Sunday than in their previous five games combined and look to keep the bats productive when they open a three-game series against the host San Diego Padres on Monday. Shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria matched a franchise record with seven RBIs in the 14-2 breakout win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Marlins starter Wade LeBlanc pitches in San Diego for the first time since the Padres traded him to Miami after the 2011 campaign.The Padres have won eight of 11 games after beating the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. San Diego third baseman Chase Headley has a 10-game hitting streak and has found his swing after missing the first 2 1/2 weeks with a thumb injury. The Padres are averaging 7.2 runs in their last six victories. LeBlanc went 17-22 for the Padres in four major-league seasons after being a second-round pick in 2006. He tossed two hitless relief outings totaling 2 2/3 innings against San Diego in Miami last season. Hechavarria did his damage against Roy Halladay with a grand slam and a bases-loaded triple.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Marlins LH Wade LeBlanc (0-4, 6.23 ERA) vs. Padres RH Andrew Cashner (1-2, 4.24)
LeBlanc has allowed 43 hits in 30 1/3 innings and opponents are batting .336 against him. He took a no-decision in his last outing when he gave up four runs and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings against the New York Mets. LeBlanc has lost seven straight decisions dating to last August. He has a 2.97 ERA at Petco Park over 25 career appearances (24 starts).
Cashner has lasted just four innings in two of three starts since moving into the rotation. He walked four batters in four innings in his last start against the Chicago Cubs to raise his season count to 12 in 23 1/3 innings. Cashner gave up five runs (four earned) and six hits in the loss to Chicago. He is 0-1 with an 11.57 ERA in four career relief outings against the Marlins.

1. Miami tallied five runs in the first three games of the Philadelphia series before its explosion in the finale.
2. Marlins rookie OF Marcell Ozuna had four hits on Sunday and is 11-for-23 with a six-game hitting streak since being recalled to replace injured Giancarlo Stanton.
3. San Diego rookie 2B Jedd Gyorko is batting .340 over his last 13 games after hitting .210 over his first 17 outings.
