Washington @ Los Angeles preview
Dodger Stadium
Last Meeting ( May 13, 2013 ) Washington 6, LA Dodgers 2
The Los Angeles Dodgers have plenty of issues with nine losses in their last 11 games, but the Washington Nationals are dealing with one of their own. Right fielder Bryce Harper is not expected to be in the lineup for Tuesday's game at Dodger Stadium after running full speed into the wall during Monday's 6-2 victory. According to the Nationals, Harper suffered a jammed shoulder, a bruised neck and knee, and a cut which required 11 stitches. It is unknown when he'll return.
Other than Clayton Kershaw and rookie Hyun-Jin Ryu (a combined 7-4), Dodgers' starters are 3-8. The biggest problem has been Josh Beckett, who is 0-5 after Monday's loss. Offensively, Los Angeles has 26 home runs - the third-lowest total in the major leagues. Matt Kemp, who has averaged 29 over the last four seasons, has one. Dan Haren has won his last three outings and will start for Washington. He will oppose Kershaw, who has been nearly unhittable at home.

Haren is 6-5 with a 3.55 ERA in 17 games - 16 starts - against the Dodgers. Andre Ethier is 20-for-47 with two homers and five doubles against Haren.
Kershaw has been dominant at Dodger Stadium - 37-18 with a 2.27 ERA and 1.07 WHIP - and this season has been no exception (3-1, 0.99, 0.77 in five starts).
