Coors Field

Last Meeting ( Apr 10, 2013 ) Colorado 0, San Francisco 10

The San Francisco Giants will feel right at home when they visit the Colorado Rockies for a four-game series beginning Thursday. San Francisco has won 11 of its last 13 games at Coors Field - outscoring Colorado 111-65 during that span - and nine straight overall against the Rockies. The Giants outscored Colorado 23-8 in a three-game sweep in San Francisco last month. The Giants began their six-game road trip by allowing 21 runs while being swept in a two-game series in Toronto.

San Francisco's Matt Cain - Thursday's starter - did not make the trip to Toronto seeing as he would have flown into Denver on Wednesday ahead of his start anyway. Cain will oppose Jhoulys Chacin, who lost his last two starts. Colorado has dropped each of its last four series 2-1 following a 6-3 setback to the Cubs in Chicago on Wednesday. The Rockies are struggling offensively with 42 runs during those 12 games - 28 in the four wins - and were nearly no-hit twice.

About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
