Last Meeting ( Jun 22, 2013 ) Baltimore 2, Toronto 4

The Toronto Blue Jays have gotten off the mat after a rough start, climbed over the .500 mark (37-36) and can now grab a piece of history. The Blue Jays will attempt to match their franchise record with an 11th straight victory when they host the Baltimore Orioles in the finale of the three-game series on Sunday. Jose Bautista kept Toronto’s longest win streak since 2008 intact with a two-run homer in the eighth – the 199th blast of his career -- for a 4-2 victory Saturday.

Baltimore’s bullpen has surrendered four runs over 3 1/3 innings in two straight losses after the team won eight of its previous 11 contests. Chris Davis, who has seven homers in his last 10 games, recorded his 24th double and a single Saturday to raise his average to .339 for the Orioles. Toronto can tie the record win streak set in both 1987 and 1998.

About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
