Milwaukee @ Colorado preview
Coors Field
Last Meeting ( Jul 27, 2013 ) Milwaukee 7, Colorado 5
While the suspension of Ryan Braun has dominated the headlines, Carlos Gomez's recent stretch has been a welcome story for the Milwaukee Brewers. Gomez looks to continue his good fortune on Sunday as the Brewers attempt to win a three-game series against the host Colorado Rockies. Gomez, who went 2-for-3 in Saturday's 7-5 triumph, is 10-for-16 with five RBIs in his last four contests.
Troy Tulowitzki homered among his three hits, but Colorado fell to 4-5 on its 10-game homestand and dropped six games behind the National League West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers. The Rockies once again were without Carlos Gonzalez, who missed his second straight game with a sprained right middle finger. Following Sunday's series finale, Colorado begins a 10-game road trip by opening a four-game set versus Atlanta on Monday.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Brewers RH Donovan Hand (0-2, 3.41 ERA) vs. Rockies RH Jhoulys Chacin (9-5, 3.53)
Making his fourth start, Hand allowed two runs on seven hits in four innings of a loss to San Diego on Tuesday. The 27-year-old permitted a homer in his last outing - a rare occurrence, since he's only yielded three in 37 frames. Hand, who has yet to face Colorado, has allowed 39 hits this season.
After winning five straight starts, Chacin suffered his second loss in three outings despite permitting just five runs in 19 innings. The 25-year-old Venezuelan allowed three runs on eight hits over seven frames in a 4-3 loss to Miami on Tuesday. Chacin has made three career starts versus the Brewers but has yet to record a decision despite limiting them to a .200 batting average.
