The Arizona Diamondbacks look to complete a two-game sweep when they host the Tampa Bay Rays in another interleague matchup Wednesday night. After the teams split a pair of games at Tampa Bay last week, Arizona opened the rematch with a 6-1 victory Tuesday behind a three-run homer by Cody Ross and seven solid innings by Wade Miley. It was the Diamondbacks' sixth win in their last eight games against the Rays.With the victory, which followed a 7-0 triumph in the series finale at Tampa Bay last Wednesday, Arizona moved within five games of Los Angeles in the National League West. The Rays fell to 4-4 since their 21-3 stretch and sit 1 1/2 games behind Boston in the American League East. They have scored a total of 20 runs during that eight-game span.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Rays RH Chris Archer (6-4, 2.65 ERA) vs. Diamondbacks RH Randall Delgado (4-3, 3.17)
Archer had a personal four-game winning streak snapped Friday against San Francisco, which got to him for four runs and seven hits in seven innings. After tossing 31 innings during the streak without allowing a home run, he served up a pair in the setback. The 24-year-old righty has averaged eight innings per start over his last four outings.
Delgado picked up his third straight victory at Boston on Friday despite allowing a season-high six runs (four earned). He struck out seven against just one walk, the seventh time in nine starts he has issued one free pass or fewer. The Panama native owns a 3.00 ERA in five home starts..
