Last Meeting ( Aug 10, 2013 ) Minnesota 4, Chi. White Sox 5

Minnesota Twins rookie Oswaldo Arcia has tormented the Chicago White Sox this season. The 22-year-old Venezuelan will attempt to go deep for the fifth straight game against the White Sox on Sunday when the American League Central rivals complete their four-game series in Chicago. Arcia and Justin Morneau belted their respective third homers in two days, but the White Sox scratched for just their fourth win in 16 contests with a 5-4 triumph on Saturday.

Chicago snapped a string of five straight setbacks to Minnesota by posting its first win over its division rival since May 15. The White Sox are adjusting to life after a bevy of deals - with Alex Rios' departure to Texas being the latest. Avisail Garcia, who started Saturday's game-winning rally in the sixth inning, received his first start in center field.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Twins RH Kevin Correia (7-8, 4.84 ERA) vs. White Sox LH Jose Quintana (6-3, 3.51)

Correia yielded his second six-run, seven-hit outing in three trips to the mound on Monday. The 32-year-old lasted only two innings in the latest setback to Kansas City. Correia improved to 1-1 in his career versus Chicago on June 19 after allowing two runs on five hits in 6 2/3 innings in a 7-4 triumph.

Quintana handcuffed the New York Yankees in his last outing on Monday, permitting one run on eight hits in 6 2/3 innings to pick up the win. The 24-year-old Colombian hasn't been as fortunate against Minnesota, yielding 17 runs in three starts (14 2/3 innings) while allowing the opposition to bat .377 against him. Quintana has surrendered nine of his 14 blasts at home.

WALK-OFFS

1. Morneau, who has driven in eight runs in the series, is 4-for-7 in his career versus Quintana.

2. Chicago 2B Gordon Beckham adjusted nicely to batting in the leadoff position. He walked four times and scored twice.

3. Minnesota has won eight of the 11 meetings between the division rivals.

PREDICTION: Twins 5, White Sox 2

About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
