Last Meeting ( Aug 24, 2013 ) NY Yankees 2, Tampa Bay 4

The Tampa Bay Rays attempt to complete a sweep Sunday as they host the New York Yankees in the finale of their three-game set. Evan Longoria hit one of Tampa Bay's four home runs in Friday's series-opening victory before delivering a tiebreaking RBI single and adding a solo blast in Saturday's 4-2 triumph. The Rays, who have won eight of their last 10 contests, remained in a virtual tie with the Boston Red Sox for first place in the American League East.

Tampa Bay (74-53, .583) is percentage points ahead of Boston (76-55, .580) and has four games in hand. New York's run for a playoff berth has stalled, as it has scored only twice in each loss after totaling 29 runs during its five-game winning streak. The Yankees are seven games out of first in the East and 4 1/2 behind the Oakland Athletics for the second AL wild-card spot.

About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
