Colorado @ Philadelphia preview
Citizens Bank Park
Last Meeting ( Aug 20, 2013 ) Colorado 5, Philadelphia 3
The Colorado Rockies will try to build on a rare road victory when they visit the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday in the third contest of a four-game series. The Rockies won for only the fourth time in their last 16 games in Philadelphia with a 5-3 victory on Tuesday and recorded their ninth win in their last 34 road contests. The Phillies fell to 7-22 since the All-Star break and failed in their bid to win three straight games for the first time since mid-July.
The Rockies have a pair of hot hitters in catcher Wilin Rosario and All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who both homered Tuesday. Rosario is batting .362 during an 11-game hitting streak with three home runs and 14 RBIs during that span while Tulowitzki is 11-for-27 in his last seven games, with home runs in his last two. Cliff Lee, who hasn't won since July 5 - a span of five starts, takes the mound for the Phillies and opposes Juan Nicasio, who snapped a four-start winless streak in his last outing.
