LOS ANGELES -- Blake Griffin scored 24 points in his first game in a month, and Lou Williams added 23 Friday as the Los Angeles Clippers cruised to a 121-106 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
DeAndre Jordan had 14 points with 16 rebounds as the Clippers defeated the Lakers for the 21st time in the last 23 matchups, dating to the start of the 2012-13 season.
Jordan Clarkson scored 20 points while Julius Randle and Larry Nance Jr. added 18 each as the Lakers (11-23) lost for the eighth time in their last nine games. The Lakers were outrebounded 49-35.
The defeat came a day after the Lakers elected to hold a team meeting instead of having practice, in what was characterized as the team's effort to get on the same page after recent defeats.
Griffin was playing in his first game since Nov. 30, which was the last time the Clippers and Lakers met. In that game, the Lakers' Lonzo Ball and the Clippers' Austin Rivers collided, with Rivers crashing into Griffin's knee. Ball missed Friday's game with a left shoulder sprain.
The Clippers (15-19) took an early 9-0 lead and were never threatened. They led 62-48 at halftime and 91-75 after three quarters.
The Clippers had seven players score in double figures, including Montrezl Harrell, who had 15 off the bench, and Rivers who added 13.
The Lakers shot just 3 of 19 from 3-point range, an abysmal 15.8 percent. The Clippers were only slightly better at 9 of 32 (28.1 percent) from the 3-point line.
Finally improving after a series of injuries decimated the roster, the Clippers have now won five consecutive home games and four of their last five overall.
