Jalen Johnson totaled 22 points, 13 rebounds and six assists to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 124-97 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Tuesday night.
De'Andre Hunter added 20 points, Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 19 and Dejounte Murray contributed 17 points and 11 assists to help the Hawks win their second straight game.
All-Star Trae Young didn't play after undergoing surgery on his left hand earlier in the day. He'll be re-evaluated in a month.
Collin Sexton led Utah with 22 points and Walker Kessler had 14 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks as the Jazz lost for the sixth time in seven games.
Jazz leading scorer Lauri Markkanen was limited to 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting. Utah shot just 37.2 percent overall and was 11-for-38 from 3-point territory.
Saddiq Bey posted 16 points and seven rebounds and Clint Capela chipped in with 13 boards and nine points to help lift Hawks coach Quin Snyder to his first win over the team he previously coached from 2014-22.
The Hawks jumped all over the Jazz early on en route to an eventual 30-point lead.
After the teams went scoreless for nearly two minutes to begin the contest, Capela sparked a 12-0 run with a dunk.
Bey had six points during that surge before the Jazz even scored, which finally happened nearly five minutes into the opening quarter. Utah didn't reach double figures until Kessler scored on a putback layup with 3:09 left in the first quarter.
The Jazz pulled within seven in the second quarter, but Bey scored five straight points to make it 43-31. Bogdanovic put Atlanta up 55-44 at halftime with a last-second 3-pointer.
After Atlanta scored the first five points of the second half, Utah clawed back to within seven again thanks to a Sexton 3-pointer.
But Bogdanovic responded with a 3 and a tip-in to make it 68-56, and the Hawks ended the third quarter on a 12-2 run to take an 89-69 advantage. Atlanta stretched that into a 17-2 run and took its biggest lead of 30, 111-81, minutes later.
